The title says it all really, What are your personal thoughts on the current series. Personaly I find it an improvment on the last series. But they appear to be 'humanising' T'pol too much, also a few of the stories could have happened without the xindi 'storyline' I.E. The western one which made me wish Firefly had continued, The mixing of my two fave genres, anyway I'm digressing here.Anyway post your thoughts.

Personally, I'm a diehard Voyager fan. After that, TNG.

I never got into watching DS9 because it was such a different concept from TNG. I'm not really a fan of the original series either, although I like the motion pictures that were made with Kirk and his crew. Enterprise just doesn't cut it for me, because it is supposed to be the first starship named "Enterprise", yet it looks years ahead of the "Enterprise" of the original show in the 60's. There's something about going back to pre-Kirk days that doesn't seem to work for me.

Long live Janeway and Picard!

I dunno, haven't really seen much of Enterprise, but what I saw, I didn't really like, my personal favorite is TNG, I've been a diehard fan since I was a wee lad, next in line has to be Voyager, followed by the original series with Kirk, never got into DS9 though Warf was still awesome in DS9. Enterprise does not exist. I once saw something that was absolutely terrible, pointless, had cheesy dialogue, recycled plot, and bad acting which purported to be Star Trek. I chalked it up to a piece of meat that did not go down well, and made a mental note never to turn the TV to that channel at that time ever again.

It's Worf, not Warf. And I've only been a fan of TNG for 3 weeks! ;) ;) ;)

TNG! Yeah! Especially the later seasons. :)

DS9 - not too bad.

Voyager - losts lots of shuttlecraft. Did they keep passing "Big Xurx's Used Starfleet Shuttlecraft Emporium"?

Old Series - cheesy sets, but cool stories.

Enterprise - meh. If Kirk's ship comes after this Enterprise, it makes me think Starfleet had some budget cuts. Must be all those Federation social programs.

Yeah, I often wondered how they kept getting new shuttlecrafts, also in the pilot which I aint watched for years, didn't they say theywere short torpedos and would have watch how they used them as they couldn't get any more?

Also does anyone else kept expecting Archer to go blue at the end of each ep and say 'ooohh boy.'?

It's good. Not quite as good as TNG. That was the one ST series that I would never miss. Enterprise is good though. Certainly a lot better than Voyager...what a dissappointment that show turned out to be. DS9 was good too. But got a little boring after awhile.

The original...I grew up watching the original. We still watch it now and then. We've got many of the shows on Video. The Trouble With Tribbles? Yeah...classic.

I think Enterprise has the potential to be the BEST Star Trek ever.
they just can't seem to find the right way to go with it.
I love Star Trek. And to be able to see how the Federations started, the beginning of teh Romulan War is cool.
BUUUUUUT.... Do they go there? NO!
They are fighting a war that I have never heard of. sheesh.
Anyway, hopefully it will become one of the better Trek shows, who knows.
I'm going to keep watching cause I love Trek.
Let's cross our fingers that it gets better.

Hi UK,

I have mixed feelings about Enterprise. It's really cheesy... but I like the tension between Tucker and T'pol. I can't see her and the Captain together... I can't say I'm a diehard fan... and now that they've changed the time slot here and put in opposite Angel... I'm out until I can find the remote that will allow me to tape and watch another channel at the same time.

Most of the actors are just too stilted for my tastes. I prefer Voyager... which most people seemed to hate...

Don't watch that show. I cannot stand Scott Bakula's acting. It makes me want to barf every time that I see it.
Considering I loved watching Quantum Leep (spelling?) when I was a teenager I can't agree with Scott Bakula being a bad actor......I like Enterprise more than Voyager or TNG.

I think the show is great, but could be better. Season Three was all right, but frankly, I keep waiting for the SHOWER moment (Named after the classic scene in DALLAS when Bobby Ewing steps out of the shower, and his wife tells him she has just had this horrible nightmare. Seems everything that was on the last season was a dream).

However, the season cliffhanger was not expected. And yes, I kind of expected Archer to say, "Oh Boy" at the end of that episode.

What I would love to see with this show is how the Federation gets going. The Romulan wars. More of the early days of the technology. And, yes, even some cameos by Classic Trek stars, playing their respective grandparents and the like.
