Enjoy dressing your animals

Alot of people have told me it is wrong to dress animals, but i have been doing it for years and they seem to enjoy it. Me and my wife have 8 cats, and sat night we should have 2 rabbits. As for right now, we dress our cats in custom made clothes, from shades, jerserys, sport coats, winter coats, socks, and we also made them custom beds to sleep in.

I find nothing wrong with this, GOD sees humans and animals all the same, we all are important in some type of way, so i say have fun and take care of your animals.

What yall think?

I think dressing animals is adorable!! I personally have never, but if I have a small companion ever, I would like to. Right now I have a beast of a dog (and come to think of it, all my dogs have been huge) and would never dress him up. While I am sure you could do such things with a large animal, I suppose I am prejudiced in associating only small animals with those that are dressed up. I hope to someday soon have a dachshund, so perhaps that will be the start of this trend for me.

The way I see it is why not pamper your pet...this is the only life they get.

Your cats don't mind? I used to dress my cats in dolls clothes, they HATED it. But if your cats enjoy it then I don't see why not?

My cat also has his own bed to sleep in... he prefers mine though!

i knit my guinea pigs outfits,in fact my female is getting married this next dec. ok,its nutters but im knitting her gown,and a floor runner. thats right LOL

oh my gosh i just read this post.my cat used to bite me(I was 5?) when i tried to put baby doll clothes on him. we also used to make him wear halloween outfits and he'd growl until they were on,then he'd be okay but cats must feel their class has been destroyed LOL

We finally got our 2 rabbits the other night, and we got them 2 fur coats, fake fur btw. Look real nice, too. They dont mind it, one of my rabbits tho, for some reason dont like to a bath.

I think it is soooooo cute to dress animals. My seven yr old daughter dresses our border collie cross, Ben, in her disney dresses. He doesn't mind in the slightest. We have a photo of him dressed in a tinkerbell outfit, so cute.
