Enjoy being Single?

I do. For a while I want to be independent, relaxed and enjoy my single life

Being single is quite enjoyable, though I'm starting to think the longer I remain single the greater my fondness for personal space grows.

I'd like to get married, but I do enjoy some of the benefits of being single. I decided years ago that I would attempt to enjoy my life during every phase of it. I have done a lot of traveling in the past few years and devoted time to distance running. I figure I should enjoy and take advantage of my freedom. By freedom I simply mean less responsibilities and more time to spend doing things for myself.

It's gotten old, to be honest. But I'd rather be single than to have gone through a divorce.

It would be nice to find a girl I could connect with but they're hard to come by.

Not sure if I'd ever want to get married. I don't see why the hassle is worth it.

I'm enjoying it. Burnt out on the drama and heartache. And the idea of having to start from the beginning all over again sounds like too much work for me right now. I recently got promoted at work, moved back into a place I used to live (and enjoy), and have been spending lots of time with good friends. I'm keeping busy with plenty of things, and am content.

Yeah, I don't mind it. I've reached a point where I can find joy in the little things going on in my life, so I'm pretty content. I think it would be nice to have someone to spend time with though. But I don't need a relationship to be happy.

I've got a strong apathy towards it. I desire to be in a relationship, but on the other hand I'm very wary of sharing my heart with someone again, only to have it torn to shreds like the last four times. :/

All I can think of... is that I'd want to be relaxed, independent, happy, and enjoying life whether I'm in a relationship or not. I'm not really in a rush to be in a relationship. Don't think I should be in one atm because I'm still working out being okay just as I am. One day though, things may change.

I am using this time alone to explore other abilities and talents - trying to write poetry and prose - but to quote a really good book I've read: "There is a time and season for all things under heaven".

I know what you all mean about personal space - but when the right person comes along I think surrendering some of that will be as easy as breathing.

Sure, being single isn't without advantages, but it's not as if I'm terribly fond of being alone... To be honest I think I would prefer meeting someone special rather than spending yet another year alone. Being single didn't bother me that much when I was younger, but now that I'm in my thirties I sometimes panic a little… Lol. On the other hand I realize that God's timing is perfect. There is no reason to worry if we place our trust in God.
