i wrote these for an imaginative writing class. it's a really cool way to witness i think. in a few weeks my whole class is going to have a workshop on the "judgment day" one. enjoy.
"Judgment Day" to the tune of "Yesterday" by the Beatles
Judgment Day,
All my worries will be far away.Nothing that I ever do or say,
Will help me much,
On Judgment Day.
Suddenly,
'Stead of standing where I used to be,
I'm before the Judge to make my plea,
When Judgment Day,
Comes suddenly.
"What have you to show,
You can go and never pay?"
"I know your own Son,
me to save this Judgment Da-a-a-ay."
Judgment Day,
Jesus Christ will come and take away,
All the sin within my life that lay,
Upon my soul,
On Judgment Day.
He will waive my fee,
Me to free and him to pay.
He was crucified,
Just for me on Judgment Da-a-a-ay
Judgment Day,
Into heaven I will go to stay.
Look into my Father's eyes I may,
And worship Him,
On Judgment Day.
Mmm-mmm-mmm-mmm-mmm-mm-mm.

In your presence, I AM and you are everything to me.
