  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

At the beginning of this week, inspired by a painting in the latest Columbia magazine, I decided/felt called that I should become a Christian knight, to the fullest of my current ability. I've started working my body more physically, praying with a sword more, and have been hit with more numerous trials this week than in a single week before. Smaller ones, like a painful speck of dirt in my eye, and my computer malfunctioning, and larger ones, but so many coming in a short period of time--and thanks to God, I've kept my eyes focused on Him the whole time, and He's made me stronger as a result. It's truly amazing, how powerful a simple, sincere "Jesus, I trust in you" can be!

I can't find the painting online; if you have it, Columbia from April 2018, it's on page 23.

Another testament to the underrated saving power of beauty.

Thanks for sharing your testimony, friend. God works in amazing ways to encourage us. I’m in awe of His goodness in small/big things that concern us in our daily lives as I read such stories. I’m praying that the Lord will continue to bless you in a loving way and strengthen you as you keep your eyes fixed upon Him.
