It is sugar and spice and all that's nice, to be honest.

I wanted to walk out singing the songs, despite the audience.

Amy Adams would get along fine with any child. She is sweet and innocent in a real life world full of problems.

Don't I wish I could make animals clean house!!!!

I did cry at the end with a twist. It really reminded me of Princess Diaries. Instead of Mia being faced with a real life title, Gizelle is faced with a real life, in unmagical New York.
Of course "real" real life would not be disney perfect as the movie ends.
I only wish I had dresses like her's.

In my opinion the PG rating is for the battle with the Evil Queen.

Any child would be alarmed by that. There was one scene with the chipmunk that was sort of gross.
No language, unless the Queens evil spells bother you.
But they were long, funny words.
