CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

They are built that way. Relationships are very key to a woman's emotional needs. In terms of love, they long for it just like we do, but they are more easily crushed by guys who treat them like junk. Love is and acceptance are very important, women long to be cherished. They have needs different than you. So they are the way they are because God made them that way. You as a male are different because God made males differently. But sometimes there are psychological issues mixed in there. Could be a combination of what she is innately, and what she is as a product of her environment.

I don't think it's just a "girl thang". I've known some guys to get pretty tore up over a lost love. As far as women being so emotional over love, it's just the way God designed us. Men were created to be the ones to "toil the fields" and provide for the woman. Women are the nurturers. It is in our nature to be more emotional over things, especially love.

As a girl...
Girls are very emotional over love; because of the way they are built! You can't be built to give birth and raise a child without being programed emotionally! And that's hard for guys to understand because they aren't "wired" that way... Just as girls will never understand things guys do...

nice one warrior i think girls understand us fine just dont' want to show it...hte love thing is because girls thrive off of being loved and acceptance...i mean girls usually tend to turn toward God first because they want love and acceptance and can get it from him..

I will never understand why guys can't put the toilet seat down
But in reality... I think it's just from person to person... because I don't understand why my fiancee can't stand up for himself! (He's too shy!) But he's very emotional for a guy (or so I've been told)
As far as the turning to God thing goes; my Fiance turned me to God... or brrought me back to him; because I saw how on fire he was for God and I was jealous! (Had nothing to do with wanting love!) I wanted the passion! And I got so much more...
