Elopement Stories?

Any successful Christian elopement stories? I know elopement is discouraged for good reason in many cases be you secular or Christian. Has anyone else met and married within a few months?

I met my hubby on military deployment. The day I met him I mentally matched my first name with his last name and I kind of just knew he was it. We eloped 3 months and 3 weeks later back in the states. His pastor in one state and my dad in another state warned us to wait. But we were from opposite regions of the country and each had rough family situations. Eloping worked for us. We have been married 15.5 years.

Anyone else elope and are still happily married?

I have heard of one couple on a Christian Facebook group who married after knowing each other 9 days and it worked out.

We eloped when her parents and my father objected to our upcoming marriage. After 52 years of being HAPPILY married I guess they were proven wrong.

I did not "elope" but I got married too quickly and it has not ended well.
