Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I wonder when people vote for Kerry if they vote for him because they like him and his plan for America or are they simply voting against Bush?
I'm sure that a large portion of his voter support doesn't even know what his plan is. It's so sad when you hear things like "we need to get out of Iraq... vote Kerry!" Many people seem to assume that he is the exact opposite of Bush, which is certainly not the case.

I can't speak for everyone, but all my friends and family are voting for Kerry because he's not Bush. That's my reasoning too.

Well the only reason I'm voting for Bush is because I think Kerry would be a disaster, so......

People don't know Kerry's plan because the man doesn't have one.
Bush will win, but if it is a narrow win, Kerry will steal the election, he has 15,000 laywers deployed in key states to protest all votes that are close and don't go his way. The last election debacle was the harbinger of the future election process.

Kerry is a man who I know in my heart would be a terrible choice for our leader, both because he is patently immoral and because he would not have the strength of character to stand alone in the goal of protecting America from terrorists.

I am on my knees in the next 24 hours that Kerry will lose.

I voted for Kerry because I agree more with him when it comes to domestic issues. As for the Iraq situation, the more I think about it, the more upset I get. I feel completely manipulated by the Bush admin and I think the manipulation is still going on...I absolutely hate the fact that he's trying to scare America into voting for him. I feel insulted everytime one of those types of 'threats' is issued.

With that said, those are my own personal opinions and not an attempt to start a debate. Just trying to specify why I voted the way I did. I know there are people who completely disagree with me, and that's fine. I think we all should vote our convictions. :)

I am worried that Kerry will win... I don't have a lot of things against him, just in my own opnion I think he's lying to get his way into office. I will be voting for Bush, just a shame Al Sharpe isn't on our countys voting poll I would vote for him if he was.

I am not worried; because Kerry will win. Bush will be just like his father; another single term. What I have against Bush; is the fact that he's BEEN lying nonstop sense he's been in office

I am just plain SCARED of Bush. Besides the fact that he thinks there should be limits to free speech concerning political criticism, he is just STUBBORN- and he refuses to listen to alternative viewpoints. Any opinion that goes against his, he REFUSES to listen to. Its amazing!

He has secret meetings in the white house, his US Patriot act creeps me out, and he just seems like a shady character.

As an engineering major, I despise the amount of outsourcing he is doing; and as someone whos convicted of ugly spending- his election spending makes me sick.

My question to the Bush supports is- did you guys even BOTHER watching the debates?

i completely DISagree with this. If you are carring any sort of Icon above that designates that you are a follower of Christ Jesus, you should vote the way His Word says you should.

I think God values innocent life more than anything else. How any Christian could vote for someone that has voted against the ban on partial birth abortion and someone who receives money from abortionists is beyond my comprehension. :(

May God have mercy on our country...
