I wasn't a faithful follower, but I was blessed by some of the ministry that went on...through worship, some of the guest speakers etc. No way am I sending money cause he should not even be thinking about that at this point in time. I am hoping and praying that the restoration process and repentence on his part is real and there is real fruit of that. Time will tell.

Last year when some of us were questioning Todd Bentley's judgment based on his questionable practices, the evidence showed he was running around on his wife and deserting her.

So time DID tell, but now you see how Todd's fans react to that.

So even if Todd Bentley becomes a cat-sacrificing Satanist, I am convinced that some people will still be rooting for him and saying all this stuff about grace.

That's false.

What most of us are reacting to is the ridiculous judgmental (critical) attitude thart has poured forth from the same people who hated Bentley THEN and NOW.

There is no objectivity or concern...simply loathing.

That's how I see it.

"Loathing"

So, therefore people who don't see things your way, it's "either/or", "good/bad", "God/Satan", "spirit/flesh". You don't think that some people maybe just don't take things at face value, and maybe they're looking for some authenticity?

Digging, more like. It is the Holy Spirit that speaks to us about what's true, if we would stop long enough to listen to Him. Those os us who don't walk in fear and see a boogy man around every corner can take the good from a disaster and cast aside the bad.

There was a lot of good that came out of Lakeland. In regard to Bentley himself, he has sinned grievously against his wife and children...and against his colleagues, his church and Fresh Fire---a ministry that he built, which is a ministry with integrity, and is going on without him.

If indeed he is being helped toward a restoration of ministry, it is way too soon to even think of that. Having jumped to remarry, he has jeopardized his credibility and his eligibility to lead again.

He must be willing to serve, however.

Todd B. sinned grievously against God. "Against you and you only have I sinned", David writes. If I had been Uriah, I might have thought differently, but that's what the scripture says. Also, repentance would start when he leaves the adulterous relationship he's in, if I read my bible correctly.

Personally, I'm not all up into what Todd Bentley is doing so much as I'm concerned about my behavior, since that's the only person I can do anything about anyway. But the whole Lakeland thing alarmed me from the beginning, before any moral problems every surfaced. You may think there was a lot of good done there, but what I see is deception and conditioning of the body of Christ to accept a false revival.
