Easy songs to play on guitar?

I've been playing guitar for 6-7 months, and I can read tabs and know about 11 or 12 chords. However, I have the hardest time finding easy songs to learn >.<

Any ideas?

Please note that I tend to play acoustic (even thought I have an electric) and I like a lot of classic rock, blues, modern rock, and metal. Country music is ok too. And I like anything by rhcp (not really sure where they fit, haha)

This, RCHP is a bit more advanced depending on their song. Also if you got tremolo picking down you have most of black metal down

Grab some sheet music and cd of Kerplunk and you are gonna have some fun

1."All Along the Watchtower" - Am-G-F-Am (seriously, that's it!)
2."Sitting (on the Dock of the Bay)" - Has a verse, chorus and bridge, but it's still very easy.
3. "Dani California" - RHCP
4. "Give it Away" RHCP
5. "Crossroads Blues" - Robert Johnson (but as performed by Eric Clapton. Take away the two or three solos and just play the main riff and the verse, and you'll sound fine)
6. "Paranoid" - Black Sabbath
7. "Unchained Melody" - The Righteous Brothers - How are your arpeggios? It's ALL arpeggios, but none of them are very hard at all. And learning the arpeggios for this song will benefit you down the road if you try to learn something like "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
