May you all in this Easter season, experience the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Hope-renewed by the true and certain truth that you are created, just the way you are for a purpose. That God can and does use you to bring glory to His name, even on the days you are too depressed or to manic to feel like nothing you do or say is worthwhile. The sure knowledge that you, just as you are, and a sinner as well, was worth the death on the cross so that you would have eternal life with God
Faith(fulness)-The renewingof your faith, the certain understanding that God has done it all, that you are acceptable and holy before God. The certain knowledge that God has a plan, a future, a hope for you and your life (Jer 29:11), that He is faithful
Love-The sure knowledge that you are the beloved child of God, just as you are wrinkles, warts and bp. You are the adopted, acceptable and totally beloved child of God.
Longsuffering-May God, the Holy Spirit grant you the longsuffering you need to face this illness called
bp, and all the trials and difficulties of life, in the certain knowledge of God's love and care.
Goodness-May the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life, give you the ability to see the good gifts God has placed in your life, and to fulffill the good works he has planned for you to do , even before the beggining of time. That you good works, both big and small would bring glory to God's name, and that you would be graced with an anwareness the you are accomplishig hwat God has set before you each day, even those days you do not make it out of bed.
Gentleness-May this fruit of the Spirit dwell in our lives, esp in those manic moments. May the Holy spirit control our tongue and actions, and remind us of our forgiveness thru the blessing of Easter when we fail, for Christ never failed, so He could take our place. We stand frogiven before God. Entrust these moments to God's unfailing forgiveness and love.
Self-Control-to take our meds, to follow the coping skills that work for us, to remember to forgive ourselves when we fail, to follow the urgings of the Holy Spirit in our life. May the self control that comes from the Holy Spirit, from take enery thought captive for Christ, from renewing our mind with the truths of the Scripture, may this self control bless your life.
Peace-We all understand the peace that passes all understanding, the peace admist the storm. May you be blessed with the certain knowledge that you are at peace with God, that God is in control, no matter what happens God will see you thru. May this peace indwell your soul.
And most of all Joy-the experience of Joy is much like peace admist the storm. It is a state of being, not a feeling. Thus you can have joy while you are depressed. The joy of knowing you ae saved, safe in the shelter of God's arm, the joy of salvation, a future hope in heaven where there is no illness, no pain, no tears.
May these blessings and many more beyond number, be your gifts from God this Holy Easter Season as we remeber the love of God as He sent His Son, who willingly chose to die in our olace, the perfect lamb, sinless, and sent the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, a Comforter until Jesus comes again and we are taken to our home in Heaven to live forever with our God, oue Savior, our Comforter.
