Well all: Here's a little update. Today was the big day. Looks like I'll be spending a lot more time in this subforum lately!! Here's a copy of the post from LTR.
Well, Thanx all for your support. We are now engaged. All happened at 7:00 am this morning. I made her breakfast in bed at her parents house. I made French toast with strawberries; her favorite. I had it all set up and everything on nice flower trays before I woke her up. She was very thankful. Then I told her "I have a surprise". I handed her a large easter basket full of candies and thoughts from our past. At this point she was really excited. She said "Thank you so much", to which I replied, "I have one more surprise". I reached into the basket and uncovered an easter tin from under the easter grass in the basket. "Close your eyes". I opened the tine pulled out the ring and opened the blue ring box and said "Ok open up". When she opened her eyes I asked her the question. She immediately cried, and squeaked out a yes. I put the ring on her finger and showed her the final surprise: four bags of custom printed M&M's (her favorite). Half of them read; "Will you marry me", and the other half read; "Kathy & Ben 2007". The rest of the day was spent with family, and consuming three Resurrection Day feasts at my parent's house, her parent's house, and my grandmother's house. What a day!!
