  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I tone down Easter, but we still celebrate it. We did the egg hunt this morning and the kids were so funny. They were hidden better this year because the kids are older. None of them were visible this year, at least not readily. It was fun watching them hunt!

Our church service was nice. I love to see the all Spring colors. Even the men wore brightly colored shirts today! It was very pretty. Some of them women even wore new hats! I do love that tradition.

Our boys looked very nice all dressed up complete with ties. Old 9 year old said he looked like a mini-dad. And he did.

This afternoon we're going to my in-laws for Easter dinner. I'm bringing Challah. ^_^ It's just my little way of protesting while still remembering the real reason we celebrate today. The problem is...it did not rise!! LOL! I think that's rather prophetic considering it is Passover and all. ^_^

My mother and father came down Saturday and we all went to an Easter Vigil Mass, which is incredibly inspiring! It's an indescribable moment when all the lights come on, the bells start ringing, and they are singing Gloria! You really feel Jesus's total and complete victory over death.

After Pesach (a big meal), and two Easters (West and East- two big meals), I'm done. I've earned a rest. I'm so tired I can barely think and I've probably put on a lot more weight. Time to relax and recharge. God is very good to us all- my faith has been strengthened.
