Hello I have read several of the post pertaining to e-sword and I have noticed that a few have stated something of the nature of exporting and having AMP and NASB in e-sword. I have both bibles on my cpu but I don't know how to use them in e-sword being I didn't get them with the program. Can someone help me???

Peace and Blessings in Christ Jesus

If the two files are E-Sword modules imported from dnspad you will have to "Run" them. Click Start, then "Run" find the two files and "Run" them. They will extract into your E-Sword folder and be available on your next start up.

Thanks very much for this link! I downloaded the files without having any problems at all and I even bought the Complete Word Study Dictionary which is great! (And there are even German and French bible versions - wonderful!)

I went ahdead and got the CD for ease.

Just this week someone else wanted e-sword but having dialup was not going to do it.

I am going to mail them my CD version which it does state is allowed.
My decision to get the CD has turned out to be a good thing.

thanks O-Shepherd but they are not e-sword modules. But I want to use them in e-sword and I was wondering if that was at all possible...
It wont be possible unless the original proggramer of Esword can get permission to include them.

I really enjoy this program. I am still a new user and I am getting acquainted with the features.

The NASB module is $20 and is available through the Lockman Foundation. Since they hold the license and generate the key code to open that file, you may want to contact them and see if they will waive the fee based on your purchase of other NASB software.

this is a great tool and if you goto yahoo groups you can find the Bible import tool where you can download 100's of bible translations such as the NIV, NASB, NAS and NKJV.....

and not to mention of you do a google search you can find tons of topic files and other goodies......also on e-Sword website there is a link for a small hosting of user modules.

e-Sword in my opinion spanks the expensive stuff silly

I have e-sword and use it often. I really like it but it takes some time for me to take out all the verse references when I use it in my sermon notes. I don't really want each verse seperated as they do when you copy it in your sermon notes, just the first on is all I need. It also puts spaces between the verses which takes more time to undo. I will sometimes use online bible for my sermon notes just because of this.

I personally think that e-Sword is an excellent program. It's already among the best, and with the recent addition of the STEP reader, all the books available in QuickVerse can now be used in e-Sword. Because of this I plan to use e-Sword as my main study software from now on and consolidate all of my resources into it (have them all in one place, fully searchable, etc).
