Sorry, I didn't mean to sound accusatory or anything...

I don't think the Holy Spirit frowns upon my hobbies because I have everything in perspective. God is the true focus of my life, my reason for being; fantasy novels and games have been a source of enjoyment for many years, but that's the thing-- I know they're not real. They're flights of fancy, works of imagination, a little bit of escapist fun... If games and books were to become an obsession or if I were to actually want to learn sorcery because of my exposure to such, then of course they would be bad. As it is though, that's not the case.

Yep, it's gotta be OD&D or 1st ed AD&D if it's old-school... I think my vote would probably be for OD&D if I had to choose between the two. A half-orc cleric, eh? Better ask him nicely...
