Dreadlocks, are they spiritually ok?

I know that it's an odd question. But does the hairstyle dreadlocks have any spiritual implications. I know in the past that dreadlocks have mainly associated with the religion Rastafarians. Also dreads have been made famous by Bob Marley and the reggae scene. However some web pages on the issue claim that people had dreads in the bible days. Including Samson and maybe even Moses. Some claim dreads have been around since the start of time and it's natural.

I know some people have a belief that it's only a hairstyle. But does anyone have or know of any personal experince with dreadlocks?

What is people's Christain views on this? What whould you all say if I was to go into an Africain based solon and got dreadlocks. Whould there be any spritual issues from a Christain point of view.

Just follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. If he wants you to have it, have it, if he wants you to cut it, cut it. Go with the peace. If you find that it's stumbling a lot of Christians and causing strife, and you have to keep defending yourself, cut it for their sake. walk in love.
