Dread Pirate Roberts

Name: Dread Pirate Roberts (aka Dwead Piwate Woberts), real name unknown
Age: Late twenty-something
Race: Human
Bio/ stats/ information/ background:

Most recent inheritor of the name "Dread Pirate Roberts" in the tradition of that name being handed down from generation to generation going all the way back to the days of Wesley and Buttercup (See Movie: "The Princess Bride"). He has kept his actual identity and background a secret.

Roberts is the captain of the most-recent pirate warship 'Revenge.' The ship has many different battle flags and alternate poop deck aft name plates so as to disguise the ship's identity and affiliation when needed. The ship's quartermaster is an eccentric scientist-inventor who often creates crazy gadgets and contraptions to help Roberts and the Revenge in their adventures.

Roberts himself is a master swordsman and has an excellent shooting ability with muskets and pistols. He is also an adept strategist at naval warfare. He has blonde hair and blue eyes and is typically dressed all in black with a black eyemask (think Zorro without the hat). He is a consummate actor and a master of disguise and will often disguise himself as someone else when entering polite society when he is off the ship. Personally, he is cool under pressure and has a dry wit.

Presently, Roberts and the Revenge have just come into the Carribean and are serving as English privateers. He has a Letter of Marque signed by the Queen of England giving him permission to raid Spanish and French merchant vessels and galleons as well as defend English ships and ports from pirates.
