Draw Near
James 4:8... Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Jeremiah 29:13... You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Hearing God's voice, hearing it more clearly is on my heart. The above verses tell us a way to do this - draw near to God and seek Him with your whole heart. How do you draw near to God? How about in a quiet time - where you pray and study God's Word? The more you spend time in His Word, seeking Him with your whole heart the more you will know Him, the more you will hear His voice. This song reminds me of these truths.

Thank You Lord for Your love, for Your desire to draw close to us as we draw close to You. Help each of us as we seek to draw closer to You and as we seek to know You better. Thank You that You have promised that as we seek You with our whole hearts we will find You, we will hear Your voice. Help us dwell in the secret place of the Most High, show each of us how to abide in Your presence under the shadow of Your wings. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
