On May 25, 2017 NASA celebrated the 5th anniversary of the spacecraft named 'Dragon'.

Besides it's name the most interesting feature of this spacecraft is that it was the first to visit the Space station and return to earth.

It was a 9 day mission.

It was set to launch on June 2nd but was delayed because of lightening.

It launched yesterday at 4:08 PM - 3 Jun 2017

It will meet up with the Space Station tomorrow June 5th

Shavuot ended June 1st at sundown

Today is Pentecost June 4th

Does anyone else find this significant?

I'm just wondering why they, citizens of a nation which is predominantly of Christian persuasion, should have chosen name it "dragon". Usage of such a name isn't sinister when countries such as China, where the Dragon isn't seen as a symbol of evil, employ it. However, when a nation such as the USA or any other European country where the Dragon traditionally and religiously conveys negative connotations employ it-then it definitely gives a legitimate cause to question why.
