Just curious who else had watched Dr. Phil the past two days involving the 19 year old guy who his parents thought he was a sexual predator?

I found it very sad and disturbing. That family has had a lot problems and after this whole revealing things are sure to get worse. I thought to myself if I was on that stage sitting across from this guy, I wouldn't be able to control myself. And I understand completely the anger this guys parents, especially when he's done things to his little sister, but when his dad looked at him and told him he was dead to him now I thought that was little harsh.

I looked at the show online at the Dr. Phil website....and what I couldn't believe that even though his parents thought he might have been inappropriate with his little sister, they still left him with her! I agree with you Gizmo03 that it was mean of his dad to say he was dead to them...what he did was wrong...but he is still their son...

I did listen to the show today (at work on my TV walkman). Maybe I missed it but how does someone get molested 24 or however many times he did?

It was disturbing. As the parents, I wouldn't know if I wanted to kill him or love him. Very sad indeed. I hope the help Dr. Phil is providing will turn his life around.

I don't think this should have been shown to the world.

I could care less about the preditor. BUt the family and the girl will face the public.

The Preditor needs to be put away until such time as he is safe.
He admitted to lying about trying to "do things against their will"
Admitted to molesting several people of ages under 14. including his sister.

He stated he was molested 27 times before the age of 9. And was molested again when he was 16. The only way I can see the original would be a babysitter or family member.

As far as the father, I would agree with him. The child was hurt, but he turned into a monster. The brothers said they hate him. That one child has ruined the familys life.
I really thought the father was going to hurt the preditor. He was on the edge. (The preditor violated the fathers only daughter.)
The mother is the only one that still loves him.

I think the whole family needs help. Help to get over this, work through it. And hopefully bring the family back together.

The first step is honesty.
Accept what they are feeling towards each other. Thats why I don't
blame the father for saying his son was dead to him.

I think its very rare that a child is born a preditor, I believe that he was abused also and where were the parents then. Its really easy to blame the son but he was a child when he did it. I think Dr Phil used it for ratings and was not very professional if he really cared about helping he could have done this one privately.

I agree that they shouldn't of put this show on air.

I must admit I felt bad for him, not more then I did for his family and all the girls he messed with though. But it seems like only his mom still loves him, and nobody likes him. I just really hope he will be helped and cured of this "sickness".

I watched this show and was shocked for several reasons

1) I couldn't believe any person would want this type of dirty laundry aired on national television!

2) I was so offended that the parents hadn't done anything BEFORE this!!

Man, I didn't see that. That sounds really interesting. Seems like they could have taken care of that in private counseling, and not air it to the world.
