CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I havent watched Dr. Phil in a long time, so Im not up to date with this new scheme of creating a morality system or whatever. I just thought he talked like Oprah, on and on.

Dr. Laura rocks. 
She is definitely an aquired taste, but once you get past being offended by her and embarrassed for the people she talks to, she is absolutely dead-on as far as moral issues. As far as I have ever heard.

Nope. She's a psychiatrist/psychologist (what's the difference, anyway?!). She has a TV and a radio show, and has written several books. Alot of people don't like her because she can sound really abrasive and well...rude. But the thing is, she doesn't sugar-coat solutions. Her thing is that most people already know what they need to do, they just need a kick in the pants to get them to do it. She kicks pretty good.
