  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Tim Horton's don't have fresh donuts anymore... they're frozen. *cries*

Oh well, I suppose it will stop people from eating too many donuts. :p

I think it depends on the branch. A friend of mine worked at a tim's just last year and says the donuts were fresh.

They're pretty good... but it's nothing to get like... weird about. LOL! They're better than Timmy's doughnuts... but so? Their coffee sucks. ;)

are they better than tim's new maple donuts? cuz those are pretty good (mmmm sugar). and tim's coffee rocks. :)

we are getting a krispy kreme this summer so i can try it and compare... but i have a feeling i will remain forever loyal to tim's since it is the one that is always there for me wherever i go and whatever i need, whether that be a caffeine fix or directions in a strange city.

Depends on the store. Here in Kelowna we have several Tim Hortons outlets but only two of them have bakeries. All the doughnuts are fresh, but those two Tim Hortons have to deliver the fresh doughnuts to all the other outlets.

I'm a huge Tim Hortons fan, but I have never encountered frozen doughnuts at any of their outlets, from here to Vancouver Island.

And I concur with all the posts above -- nobody beats their coffee!
