Don Knotts

I just read earlier today that Don Knotts has died...he was 81...he died of pulmanory and respitory problems.
I am not ashamed to say that I have shed tears over this, but as Gen. Patton said,

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived."

If I remember correctly he was a Brother in Christ.

I can't believe he died.... ....I just can't believe it. I knew he hadn't been well the past few months and all, but...I just never expected him to actually die. He was such a great actor. He was just too wonderful in The Andy Griffith Show. I'm gonna miss him.

80 is 80. I don't think it's a shock. People die when they hit 80. 3 actors died in one week. That I do find strange. I only knew Knotts though. The other two Darren McGavin and Dennis Weaver,I may have seen but don't know that well.

But it's still sad in a way. I had no idea he was so old. I hadn't seen him on t.v. for awhile. But he had a long and successful life doing just what he wanted to do.

He was one of a kind.Never be another like him.I especially liked him on Three's Company.Just thinking about him makes me laugh.

He did provide the voice of Wormie in the Hermie childrens series. It was a blessing to hear his voice and to play a part in kids coming to christ.

It is definitely sad that he passed away. I loved him as an actor. Just thinking about Three's Company makes me laugh. He played a wonderful role in that show. I will miss him.

Yeah, I loved him in Three's Company. He was great in that show. He was great in everything he played in. He is really missed.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I hope it was just that he passed so recently, and not just that they didn't find him worth putting in.

I'll bet at the next Emmys they give him a nice memorium.
