Welcome.
What you described there, makes you very unique.
There isn't any advise I can give you, as you probably will be able to work it out.

I'll just listen to what others have to say.
Nice to know you.

Well you can have all of the above you wrote about yourself, But if you have never believed in Jesus for God's free gift of Eternal Life. In the end you will end up at the great white throne judgment, just before all unbelievers are cast into the lake of fire.

What does it mean to believe in Jesus. It means to believe Jesus (in The Bible) is who He says He is The promised Messiah / Son of God, the resurrection and the life.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

I'm actually glad to hear you mention this.
This is good, because it goes beyond just believing, which the disciple James says is not enough. James 2:19

Just a question I thought of...
You asked...
Are all these things part of greater plan? Has God chosen for something?
Are the things "the good book says to do and be" helping millions of people to be like yourself?

God's plan for his people always includes salvation from his wrath on sin (Ro 5:9), which salvation is only through faith and trust in Jesus Christ for the remission of that sin (Jn 3:18), giving right standing with God's justice; i.e., "not guilty."

Apart from that, all is sounding brass and tinkling cymbal to God.

Eph 2:3 - All of us. . .are by nature, objects of God's wrath (because no one is without sin).

Ro 5:9 - We are saved from God's wrath only through Jesus.

Jn 3:18 - Jesus said, "Whoever believes in God's Son is not condemned, but whoever does not believe in him is condemned already."

Totally agree with all. Just a tad to add, if I may...

Our goal in this life should be to receive eternal life (and aid others in receiving it) and there is only one proof that we ourselves have done so. Everything else is vanity, a chasing after the wind:

John 17:3 NIV

"Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

That's the whole ball of wax, friend. Anything short of knowing Him and being known by Him - through saving faith - doesn't impress Him at all.

It's all about Jesus.

God bless and welcome!

We are to walk with God and get the gospel out. The more a person studies the Word of God the more light they receive and develop a closer relationship with Christ ... this brings peace to our hearts and mind ... even in the midst of turmoil. The closer our relationship with Jesus the better our decisions will be. It is the work of the Holy Spirit that gives us knowledge sometimes instantly of how to handle various situations.

welcome , I read your post with attention, we are similar in many ways a few thing I an not certain of and must be resolved or explained further;
You wrote:

"" I have dreams and visions. Everything I've ever dreamt came true. I dream of myself, of my loved ones, both alive, and deceased, that tell me certain things: what will be, what can be, what should be. They guide me.::

something is wrong here! The dead cannot hear you or speak to you , I am certain of this. Be careful not to be mislead, I am a bit worried, there is this also;

""People that wrong me are punished. This may seem unbelievable but everyone I've ever known that has wronged me ended up badly. It didn't happen immediately though, but over time. Weird things happen to people that wished me ill, or tried to sabotage me.""

Do you think God has anything to do with this? I know it is not so.

Blessings

If He hasn't He has certainly blessed you. Given that God is not willing that any should perish, you should listen to His call and answer positively,
If the statements you made concerning your character are true you are a shoo-in. Unless of course you foolishly take credit for yourself and ignore your creator.

That does not sound boring, it sounds like freedom from many of the temptations normal people struggle with.
Freedom to move forward and commit to charity, helping and encouraging those who need.
Not like a monk who hides secluded from life on this planet, more akin to Mother Teresa. Put your money where your mouth is. 'For where much is given, much is required."
And those who dislike you for exerting control over the natural man, To heck with them. There are more important issues here to deal than to be concerned with the opinion a a few boneheads. "The truth is to simple for us, we do not like those who unmask our illusions."
The culture of the world has been infected with pneumo cranial disorder. Let them spin like a balloon when the air is released.
He has explained what we are to do. Go with your gifts, your talents.

All well and good. . .

But the NT word of God makes clear that all mankind is condemned (Ro 5:18), that all are by their very nature enemies of God (Eph 2:3) and all are under God's wrath (Ro 5:9) on sin.

And the fact remains that you, through lack of knowledge, do not do the one and only thing necessary to be saved from God's wrath (Ro 5:9) on all mankind (Ro 5:18); i.e., believe in and trust on Jesus Christ and his atoning work for the forgiveness of your sin and right standing with God (sin forgiven), and then live in obedience to him according to the teaching of the New Testament.

I'll add the following to the topic
Welcome to Christian Forums.
We need Jesus to make us able to make sure with God > to test reliably. This comes with growing and maturing as His family. When we fail, forgive the ones who trick us and forgive ourselves, and trust God to join us with the ones He wants us to help while He has them also helping us.
The thing with being alone is that its a form of protection. You protect yourself from the influence of others.
Well, we can be our own main problem, and our Father wants us to share. This way, we can learn how to share in love with one another, not to be isolated.

And we help one another better than how each one can only protect one's self. We need more mature Christians to help us better than we can. God wants us to share and care for each other as God's family; so this is how He has things the safest for us.

Even though others can be a problem, and we can fool our own selves, God desires how we can share as His family. And my opinion is that we can not become God's way on our own and in isolation. And so, He does not have us maturing in Jesus without one another as our family with Jesus.

God has us helping each other. But be ready to see how certain people are not to be trusted.
For example, as per my above post, if I were to pick the wrong woman, what would happen is I would be reduced to her level. It is my experience that goodness never gets assimilated, but evil..
That happened with Adam and Eve. But now we have Jesus. He in us can change us so we are not so easy to fool and mislead. So, have we gotten started with Jesus? Then we are never on our own > Proverbs 3:6-7.
And so, if I were to chose badly, this would happen.
If we have trusted in Jesus, now we can trust Him by submitting to Him, and discover how He guides us in our relating and choices about whom we trust and marry.
She listens to a random individual, shel believes, then she tells me.. The person that you live with has a much greater influence on you that anyone else, which is it is imperative to think when making the step.
With Jesus we can be strong and wise so we do not go along with how someone close to us is wrong. We need to trust Jesus and get deep with Him so we can stay away from someone's wrong things.

I have trusted in Jesus for salvation > Ephesians 1:12. However, I have given in to bad influences. But I prayed for God to correct me so I keep being submissive to Him and do what He does with me.
The fact of matter is that I am not only living by myself, but that I also work alone.
What do you do?

Hello.

I am very happy to have found this community; this is my first post here.
Welcome.
So you're a Christian and have received new life through Christ?

I have dreams and visions. Everything I've ever dreamt came true.
That's interesting, but not really what the bible says we should do and be.

I dream of myself, of my loved ones, both alive, and deceased, that tell me certain things: what will be, what can be, what should be. They guide me.
Being guided by those who have died is not at all what the Bible says to do.
God guides us
He leads us in paths of righteousness for his name's sake, Psalm 23:3 and Jesus said that his sheep listen to his voice.

"Certain feelings" could be the gift of discernment; a gift of the Holy Spirit.
I'm told or warned about all major events of my life, months or years in advance to the point where they will occur. I never know though when it will happen, just that it will happen.
That could be a gift of knowledge - though it sounds slightly spooky.

I have a plain lifestyle. I never liked man's idea of consuming resources. Instead, I possess a growth mindset - I take the bare minimum and give back as much as I can.
It sounds like you have a minimalist lifestyle. That's fine, if it works for you.

Neither does money. It doesn't do anything for me. I always used money for good things; for instance my education, my wellbeing, helping others. It never went to "fun"; and I don't even know what fun is for that matter.
The definition of "fun" will be different for everyone.
But it's not wrong to relax, and even to spend money relaxing.
I have no vices. Never smoked, drinked, drugged, gambled.
Me neither.
My thinking is the body that you house is not yours, but God's;
That's what Scripture says too.
Neither the internet. I'm a ghost of the web, no accounts on any social platforms whatsoever, never had. It never attracted me.
Except for your posts on here.
But the internet isn't bad in itself. There is a lot of information out there, access to commentaries, documents, information about Bible times and so on. It's like everything else; it can be used for good or bad.

What has attracted me though is the pursuit of knowledge: reading, writing, calculating; faith and nature, but not much else. I spend my time in knowledge.
Again, that's fine if it's what you want or it helps you.

And I thrive in being alone and can handle it very well. I never feel em[ty, or alone, never felt loneliness. I feel like there's always someone with me, anywhere I am.
That's good up to a point - and of course God is always with us.
But in the Garden of Eden God said "it is not good for man to be alone." Also, we are the body of Christ; we are made, and meant, to be in families and communities. Being alone is fine, but not all the time.

God is Trinity and, in the Bible, 3 is one of his numbers.
But that doesn't mean that the number 3 is more special than any other; 7 is one of his numbers too.

Has God chosen for something?
I've no idea; have you asked him?

The thing that slightly worries me about all this, though, is the reason for you listing all these positive traits, actions, qualities and so on.
I don't doubt at all that you have them and you sound like a studious, knowledgeable and disciplined person. But those, things in themselves, do not mean, show or guarantee that God has chosen you for something.
Don't get me wrong, he may have. But in the Bible God chooses the weak, the young, the old, the overlooked and the unqualified; those who other people would ignore and/or don't think they are worth much. Those who would trust completely in him and not in their own character. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, but this does read a little like, "I have so many good points, God would be foolish not to want me."

I mean, you could certainly witness, and proclaim the Gospel, to others who are like you - they would relate to you in a way that they wouldn't relate to me. And God has certainly called all Christians to bear witness to him, spread the Good News, be salt and light in our communities and stand up for justice, as well as for our faith.

How exactly you do that, is between you and him.
You might find also that your local church and vicar/pastor/Minister could help you to discern God's calling and will.

I meant that the internet does not know me. There is no reference of my real name, my photo, nothing.
Ok.
Everywhere nowadays requires an account, and that's fine, so as long as you don't expose yourself, to the point where you can be identified.
There's nothing wrong with being identified - though I appreciate you don't want to be.
Authors, politicians, film stars etc. wouldn't be anywhere if they couldn't be identified or have an online presence. Even with family/friends stuff; I couldn't have been in touch with old school friends, nor seen photos of my nephew's family, if I couldn't be identified.
Though, again, I appreciate you don't want that, which is fine.
I have this desire of helping others. It's very strong in me, but I just can't use it.
Why not? Helping others is good - Christian service.

If I try to use it, and help, people tend to take advantage. Everytime I tried, I ended up overfeeding people that already have been well fed.
Are you saying that you end up helping people who, you feel, don't actually need help?
I don't know how to use my gifts, my knowledge for betterment.
Being a computer scientist sounds as though you have a lot of technical, and IT, knowledge. Is there a charity that needs help in that line? Could you teach others? Can you already fix computers/software or is there a course you could take which would teach you? Could you then, or now, fix laptops for poorer people, or to send them overseas?

The risk of this is that even when someone really needs your help, you don't trust his words anymore.
The risk of not helping him because you have been taken advantage of before and don't trust him, is that you fail to do good and help those in need.

If only it was that simple. I would in heartbeat if it could be done...
It obviously can be done because thousands of us do it.
That's usually how it works. Whenever you want to do some good, those in need never receive,
They do most of the time, obviously. The Red Cross, Oxfam and dozens of other charities have volunteers who make a difference. You can sponsor a child through World Vision, Action Aid or Compassion and know that you are making a difference in someone's life. You could volunteer at your local hospital, become a volunteer chaplain, or prison visitor, ask your church for a list of people who need a visit, do their gardens or shopping - the list is endless.

and instead it goes to those that know how to work the system.
If you're talking about giving money to people on the streets, that is a risk.
But there are alternatives. If they are hungry buy them a sandwich and give them the mane of a local homeless shelter (if there is one). If they genuinely want food and help, they will not turn that down.
But "working the system" is their problem. Yours is that you failed to do good because you judged that the "wrong" person would benefit from it.
When the righteous asked, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you .... when did we see you ill or in prison and go to visit you?" Jesus answered, "whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:37-40.
I wish it were, I really do. Would even work for free.. so as long as it's nice, loving community.
Are there no charities, Christian charities or churches which need help or support? And I'm not just talking about IT or computer programming.

The biggest thing that I dislike about society is that they are taught to hate each other.
And Christians are called to be light to the world. Places that are not in darkness do not need light.
We serve a God who is love and who taught, and commanded, us to love - even our enemies.

People are taught to compete, to achieve, to gather, but they are never taught to love and help each other.
This will be the case unless someone shows them a different way.

Why is this, I have no idea. But this is what is happening.
The world's way is not Christ's way.
The world says that people are valued by their achievements - a manager is more important than a shop worker, a consultant more important than a nurse, a bishop more important than a curate. Tell people, or put on your CV that you are a CEO with good degrees and qualifications; you will get more respect, money and employment opportunities than if you say you are an unemployed plumber. Mention to someone that you have started a business/founded a charity/gained impressive qualifications; they will be impressed and it may lead to further opportunities, money or awards.
( I know that higher positions mean greater responsibility and there is nothing wrong with studying for qualifications; but, generally, that seems to be how it is.)

But we serve a Saviour who ate and drank with tax collectors and sinners, who touched, and healed, lepers and the unclean, who called fishermen to be his disciples and who taught that the first will be last and the last, first. We believe in a God who called an 80-year-old Moses to lead a nation out of Egypt who gave a shepherd boy victory over a giant and who sent his Son to be born in a stable to a teenage girl, rather than in a palace to an important princess.
Paul said that the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom and the weakness of God, stronger than human strength, 1 Corinthians 1:25.

We must expect the world's values to be different from ours - we are told not to conform to the world, Romans 12:1.
I typically stay away from these sorts of people.
That's a shame.
They will never see another way or see Jesus among them, if you, an ambassador for Christ, do not witness to them. That's not what God did. He loved us so much that he came into this sinful, messed up, upside-down world and showed us a better way.
The fact of the matter is, it's not just computers, but mathematics, and foreign languages, and others. You see, when I said I pursued knowledge, this is what I meant. I study a lot, and I like to know things, at a deep level.
So you have a lot of knowledge - why not go and share it?
Teach another language; teach English to those who cannot speak it. Become a Bible translator or interpreter. Work among asylum seekers.
I have very few formal qualifications, yet I volunteer for 2 charities and am involved with many more. Write some letters/send emails to ask if anyone could use your skills and knowledge or if you could help in any way. I'd be very surprised if the answer was "no".
Though having said that, the attitude, "some people don't need help and are working the system" might put some off.
I'd agree with you there.
Unless you are specifically called to become a monk or nun and work, and pray, for others. That is a calling.

But I find myself in a situation that you can't use the knowledge that you have.
I feel sure that you CAN use the knowledge that you have - if you get out there and ask/find out where the need is and if you are willing to work among people who MAY take advantage of you, try it on or who hold values that are different to yours.
Jesus lived among sinners without letting it affect him or drag him down. He died for sinners.

If we were to compare CVs, yours would win every time; no doubt about it. You clearly have far more knowledge than I do and in a much wider area.
But knowledge isn't everything.
As the saying goes; "people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care."
Exactly, what? That you are failing to do good and help those in need?
What can you do to change that?
