  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So I had to call the pharmacy and tell them to dish out my pills three days at a time......I couldn't take them right no matter how hard I tried it was never enough.....So they said yes and all is well. Still praying for a wife but not as hard.......I have been trying to get work so I can rest my body.......Working is like therapy for me, always has been and being out of the scene for eight years is taking it's toll on me.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Self-employment is always an option. Consider what talents and abilities God has given you, find a vocation where they can be put to good use, and just go for it. Work hard and that will be your therapy. But work smart also, because God wants you to (read Proverbs).

Find something which can also be a ministry, and where you can use your spiritual gift (or gifts) and contribute to the building up of the Kingdom of God (which should always come first).

You don't have to wait until someone offers you a job. And its better to be your own boss in the long run (Christ excepted).

I want to second Job8's comments. As Christians, profits should not be our main motivation for what we do. (Matthew 6:24) Rather, we should be looking for ways to be useful, and further the kingdom of heaven. When that is the focus, the fruits of God-led work (provision, fulfillment, etc.) flow naturally.

With regard to not having a wife, a fellow Christian once suggested that I appreciate being single while in that state, and trust that God will provide a wife at the right time if it's in His will. You might find that advice helpful as well.

I believe God wants me to wait. As for the medication I had to do it for me.....I feel stable and normal......I'm so glad that God has a network of ppl helping me in this struggle cuz it doesn't just go away. As for a job anything would be a start.
