The outrageous hyperbole is an allegation (or lie.)
A few receipts doesn't justify shutting down a department.
I guess they should shut down the Secret Service because Trump charges them sky-high rates for their Mar a Lago rooms--which might otherwise go vacant. Even $11K for golf carts.
There should be a maximum per diem reimbursement--not highway robbery.

Some of the shutting down of departments is only temporary until the federal government can stop the fraud, abuse and wasteful spending. Most of the departments you fear that are being shut down are NOT totally shut down but instead they shall be up and running in just a matter of time. I'm not going to address your assertion about Trump and the Secret Service because that assertion is not worthy of a response at this time, IMO.

Many of the institutions of those federal government bureaucrats have lost their integrity a long time ago.
