Angels are referred to as stars in the scripture. The dragon pulled 1/3 of the stars of heaven (Rev 14:4). The seven stars are the seven angels (Rev 1:20).
Note also that in Job, the stars of heaven sang, and the son's of God clapped their hands. It's a distinct difference, and again, Adam is called the son of God, and he most certainly was not an angel.
For that matter all of us are called son's of God, and we're not angels.
I listened to Pastor Doug Batchelor on Amazing Facts and heard him say something very similarCan we be reasonable for a minute? Tell me if I am wrong.........
Here is what I think SDA want us to believe why the words "sons of God" in Job means "creatures from other planets."
Job 1:6¶Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
Job 1:7And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
Based on these scriptures the SDA poineers had concluded that at these heavenly meetings noted in Chapter 1 and 2 of the book ofJob, Satan was the only representative from the earth. The words "sons of God" was then taken to mean representative from other planets where Satan did not rule. This also implied that these creatures were perfect and without sin.
So who exactly are these planetary representatives that you refer to as "sons of God"?
There's got to me something more than "sons of God" to suggest "creatures from other planets" as an option.Other created beings from other planets. Nothing more, nothing less.

Respectfully asking,
From your understanding of what? The scriptures or the writtings of EGW?
How do you define inteligent beings? Are they more like naked animals creatures that crawl or do the have space ships and weapon systems?

The Lord has given me a view of other worlds. Wings were given me, and an angel attended me from the city to a place that was bright and glorious. The grass of the place was living green, and the birds there

warbled a sweet song. The inhabitants of the place were of all sizes; they were noble, majestic, and lovely. They bore the express image of Jesus, and their countenances beamed with holy joy, expressive of the freedom and happiness of the place. I asked one of them why they were so much more lovely than those on the earth. The reply was, "We have lived in strict obedience to the commandments of God, and have not fallen by disobedience, like those on the earth." Then I saw two trees, one looked much like the tree of life in the city. The fruit of both looked beautiful, but of one they could not eat. They had power to eat of both, but were forbidden to eat of one. Then my attending angel said to me, "None in this place have tasted of the forbidden tree; but if they should eat, they would fall." Then I was taken to a world which had seven moons. There I saw good old Enoch, who had been translated. On his right arm he bore a glorious palm, and on each leaf was written "Victory." Around his head was a dazzling white wreath, and leaves on the wreath, and in the middle of each leaf was written "Purity," and around the wreath were stones of various colors, that shone brighter than the stars, and cast a reflection upon the letters and magnified them. On the back part of his head was a bow that confined the wreath, and upon the bow was written "Holiness." Above the wreath was a lovely crown that shone brighter than the sun. I asked him if this was the place he was taken to from the earth. He said, "It is not; the city is my home, and I have come to visit this place." He moved about the place as if perfectly at home. I begged of my attending angel to let me remain in that place. I could not bear the thought of coming back to this dark world again. Then the angel said, "You must go back, and if you are faithful, you, with the 144,000, shall have the privilege of visiting all the worlds and viewing the handiwork of God."

Forgive me, but can you interpret this passage below for me:
Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.
And the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. Genesis 6:1-4
Who are the sons of God refered in the Scriptures?
Let's be more specific here and say who are the son's of God referred to in the above scriptures.
And to keep it simple, the son's of God are those men who were living in obedience to God's will. The daughters of men, were those who were living against the will of God.
Take note that the scripture always makes a distinction between the followers of God and those in rebellion against Him. The pharisees, for example, were called the children of the Devil by Christ. This wasn't to say that they were literally his offspring, but rather that they were followers of Satan. Recall also that John says that we have been given such love as to be called son's of God.

Fair enough my friend.
however, before we go any further, who are the "daughters of men" in that passage I gave ya earlier?
Daughter's of men would be those daughters of the men that had strayed from God.
Essentially you had Godly men mixing with ungodly women. That never ends well, ask Solomon
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Ok.
..and so, you are saying the mating between holy men and ungodly women produced the nephilims?
PS. by the way, going by your own explanation earlier, wouldn't the "daughters of men" be called the daughters of the devil?

nephiyl - giants, the Nephilim
They were just really big people back in those days, that's all. We've had giants in our own time. I doubt you'd say they were the result of women mating with demons.
Since God had to destroy the entire mankind save the eight who believed, it's not difficult to figure out the descendents of believer Seth intermarried with the descendents of the unbeliever Cain. As a result, all became fallen.
5303. nephiyl, nef-eel'; or nephil, nef-eel'; from H5307; prop., a feller
[*], i.e. a bully or tyrant:--giant.
So the word nephiyl could describe a strongman, bully, rebel, giant physically and/or character-wise.
