Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

“Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. 25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

God speaks to all of us in different ways :)

the Holy Spirit does guide us, but the Holy Spirit does protect the Magisterium of the Church in a special way

the assurances given to the Church are clearly not intended for every individual, or else how could there be any disagreements?

I believe that the Holy Spirit does guide individual believers to understand the Scriptures but we must cooperate with Him in order to understand them and this includes keeping in mind the Catholic Church's teachings on the Scriptures.

The Holy Spirit from Jesus and God The Most High guides us all through Jesus/God's Holy Scriptures IF we have obediently received Jesus' Blessed Sacraments including Holy Baptism, Confession, Jesus' Blessed Sacraments, ie Jesus' Flesh and Blood in His Holy Eucharist. Of course The Holy Spirit from Jesus/God flows His most Loving Holy Wisdom, Holy Guidance and Enlightenment through The Church, the Pope, ArchBishops, Bishops and Priests, with prayers of Love and support from Parishioners around the world for Jesus/God/The Holy Spirit's Loving Holy Wisdom received into their hearts MarkMe.

However, the Lutheran teachings may be that faith in Jesus Christ our Lord alone without atonement of sins is only required for Salvation, however the Roman Catholic Church's Teachings through God The Most High and Jesus Christ our Saviour Himself and through His Disciples and Apostles require Absolution of Sins from Jesus through His Holy Appointed; His Priests, ArchBishops and Bishops e.g. His Religious of whom have been appointed BC and AD by God The Most High and Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Within God The Most High's Holy Word given to Esdra and God's other Apostles, The Holy Spirit and God's Angel delivered Holy Messages from God and from God Himself to Moses, preparing the world for His only Begotten Son, The Messiah" of whom would give "Mercy".

Now within God's Old Testament, God does not detail "how" Jesus' Mercy will pan out, however, God The Most High appointed all of His High Priests throughout the Centuries, appointed Jesus Christ our Lord, His only Begotten Son, to live on Earth, establish His New Covenant and New Testament and die for God and mankind in order for mankind to receive Jesus' Mercy. There are Holy Passages throughout God's Old Testament and Jesus' New Testament stating Jesus' Mercy and;

Jesus taught His Disciples:

"Repent and believe in The Good News".

Why would God The Most High allow Jesus to suffer the greatest agonies (as His Sinless only Begotten Son) to wipe all sins committed by mankind after Jesus Died and ascended into Heaven while leaving His Holy Commandments....not to be broken.

The Disciples have warned and warned mankind to not break Jesus/God's Commandments, to give greatly to others, to walk in Jesus' Righteousness, to forgive others or there would be punishment of sins. Jesus' Mercy is mentioned throughout God's Old Testament from God to Esdra and throughout Jesus' New Testament in Passages.

I am making the point MarkMe, that our Creator God The Most High of whom taught within His Old Testament and Days of His Apostles, that all Commandments broken and sins against Him would be firmly punished, however, that there would exist "Mercy" once Jesus was forthcoming here on Earth as His only Begotten Son "The Messiah".

Jesus has died for our sins in order for mankind to be given the opportunity to receive Jesus' Mercy (ref: New Testament) ie Jesus' Divine Mercy IF Mankind turns to Jesus opening their Hearts as all of Jesus' Disciples have indicated through Jesus' New Testament. The Term "Mercy" is written throughout Jesus' New Testament in various Readings.

Jesus' Divine Mercy is available to those of whom have turned to Jesus in repentance and/or recited His Divine Mercy Chaplet just once or during Jesus' Divine Mercy Feast during Easter - the Sunday after Easter reciting Jesus' 9 Day Novena.

Jesus appears to Catholic Saints of whom are His Holy Appointed, throughout the ages, to Catholic Children, lay Catholics and others of whom are Catholics, because Jesus founded His Catholic Church including God The Most High appointing His Apostles and High Priests BC of whom handed down both God The Most High's Holy Word and Jesus Holy Word Himself and through His Apostles Disciples and Priests compiled through The Roman Catholic Church of which are delivered through each Pope of each Century. The Sermons then delivered through Jesus' Holy Appointed His Priests.

Jesus' Holy words to Saint Sister Faustina during the 1930's within His Divine Mercy Feast Novena:
"Second Day"
"Today bring to Me the souls of Priests and Religious and immerse them in My unfathomable Mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion, through them, as through channels, My Mercy flows out upon mankind" and;

"Today bring to Me the souls who are detained in Purgatory and immerse them in the abyss of My Mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly Loved by Me. They are making retribution to My Justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all of the indulgences of the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off the debts for My Justice".
and;

"Write that when they say this Chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge, but as the Merciful Saviour" and;

"When you go to Confession, know this, that I am waiting for you in the Confessional. I am only hidden by the priest, but I Myself act in the soul. Here the misery of the soul meets The God of Mercy. From this fount of Mercy, souls draw Graces solely with the vessel of Trust. If their Trust is great, there is no limit to My Generosity".

MarkMe,

If you read Saint Sister Faustina's 600 pages of Her Diaries prior to death, in which Jesus gave Saint Faustina His Divine Mercy Chaplet for mankind to recite or pray, you will read Jesus' Holy Words that reflect His New Testament and God's Old Testament in relation to the wrath of God The Most High of Souls whom have not received Jesus' Mercy, His Divine Mercy during the hour of death and/or of whom have not repented sins during their lifetimes.

Love and kindest wishes my Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ our Saviour
