Cool opinion, not true though:
I appealed to Scripture. You are also appealing to the false doctrine of sola scriptura in your reply and then applying your false interpretation of that scripture.
OkThe Eastern church does NOT believe in Purgatory.
I appealed to Scripture.
You were the one who claimed that Scripture supports the idea of a Purgatory and suggested we read another man's writings about how to interpret Scripture...so what Scripture has to say about the matter established the ground rules as YOU set them before us. And Scripture clearly does not support the theory.
Yes the Bible teaches purgatory and the church has always believed in a post mortem purification.
Search “William Albrecht” on YouTube for scripture teaching and church fathers on purgatory

Well no, the Catholic Church isn’t a “denomination”Can you cite Scripture that "teaches purgatory"?
And when you write that "the church has always believed in a post mortem purification" I assume that you mean the Catholic church. But I have news for you: "the church" and "the Catholic church" aren't synonymous. The church is the body of Christ; the Catholic "church" is a denomination.
All right. In that case we know for certain that the body of believers did NOT always believe what you were referring to. The belief didn't even exist until centuries later.and when I said “the church has always believed this” I am of course referencing the body of believers that started in 33AD.
at one point the “Catholic Church” consisted of Romans Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox and Assyrian church of the East.
But of all the Christian churches, only Roman Catholicism believes in Purgatory. And Purgatory is the subject of our discussion here.Due to disputes, these churches have all separated, yet, all agree in a post mortem purification, intercession of the saints, baptismal regeneration.
They reject sola scriptura and reject protestant sola fide.
...which makes it sound like you're thinking of switching to one of the Eastern Orthodox churches.I will stick with what the body of believers were in agreement with for 1600 years until the false prophet heretic Martin Luther came along

Denominations are all schisms from the Catholic church.
For example, if you look at the a tree it has a base and it has branches. The Catholic Church is the base, the church that has existed since the day of pentecost, the branches are all little sects and schisms from the church that came about in the 1600’s known as denominations.

The Bible does not teach about purgatory.Does the Bible teach about Purgatory?
Does purgatory exist?

But God still can conceal some mystery of spiritual world from us.
God only told us there is Hell, Hades, Heaven.
Is Paradise and Heaven same?
No. But many people think they are the same. But God still can conceal some mystery of spiritual world from us.

But God still can conceal some mystery of spiritual world from us.
God only told us there is Hell, Hades, Heaven.
Is Paradise and Heaven same?
Can Heaven be on the edge of the universe?
It is actually a 3-dimensional world like us, but built of immaculate and immortal things.
Is the claim now being made that Heaven is a place on Earth in the physical realm????Yes. Even the Greek Old Testament Septuagint renders God's Garden of Eden as Paradise.
Is the claim now being made that Heaven is a place on Earth in the physical realm????
