Shalom,
Scripture says: "we must repent toward Yeshua the Messiah; and trust in him completely in order for us to be forgiven and saved. (Acts 3:19) Only by dedicating ourselves to Yeshua in complete trust can we be saved. (Matthew 10:37-38; 7:21-26) We have been given a new life by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. Yeshua died and rose in order to forgive us and cleanse us of sin. (Romans 6:1-14) God forgives on the condition that we forgive others. If we refuse to forgive, then God will refuse our entrance to heaven. (Matthew 6:14-15; 18:23-35). If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever—; We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him." Look at the word "OBEY". (John 14:15-16; Acts 5:32)"
Yeshua came and did what he did so that we can be forgiven, given a new life through the Holy Spirit that is given to us because of Yeshua’ resurrection, and transformed into the image of holiness that Yeshua himself reflected while he was human. This is the gospel that Paul, John, and the writer of Hebrews preached. We are saved by grace because we have faith. If we loose our faith we loose our grace; and if we loose that, then we loose everything that comes with it. Faith is the conviction that something is truth. Conviction brings with it, a desire and attempt to act in accordance with this truth. Faith in Jesus is no different. "faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." (James 2:17)
My question to the community today is: Do you love God enough to willingly sacrifice EVERYTHING to serve him. If not, then you are not a REAL believers.
(Matthew 19:29): "And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life." Those who believe in Yeshau obey Him. Those who knowingly disobey Yeshua, do so to their own damnation. For it is written: For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. (Hebrews 10:26-27) In Matthew 25: 1-13, the people symbolized by the five wise virgins know that God wants us to obey him. The five foolish virgins are those who base their salvation on dead faith. These kinds of people believe the gospel of Yeshua the Messiah to be a fact of history and believe that they are saved for believing this. According to versus 10-12, they will not enter the kingdom of God and will be rejected by Jesus Christ himself.
Matthew 7:24-27
To have his word and do them is the foundation of our "house".
