Does life ever feel like a a endless merry go round to you with no end in sight? This is how I feel at times of my life, and it is very scary not knowing what the future has in store.

Life IS an endless merry go round. :)

I totally agree with a retired cop who became a Catholic priest. He gave a television interview 5-10 years ago and in the interview he said that life is a test. It is a test to determine what happens to us in the next life. It would seem that life is meant to be a struggle. Let us all hope and pray that we pass the test.

It takes time to become a good old peach;
first, there's that cute little buddy, so-o-o fuzzy,
then the green teen, not exactly mature.
But even in our middle years . . .
yes, we can be oh-so colorful
in all that peach-light coming down
all around us; and yet we're still going to get
at least a little bit bitter and sour,
deep-down inside.
Because we need to go through
some heat of the summer
before we can reach a ripe old age.
But then is when we can get
sweeter and sweeter and
even more and more juicy,
because we made that commitment
to learn how to love.
"'Take My yoke upon you and
. . . . . learn from Me,
for I am gentle and lowly in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.'"
. . . .. .. . .(Matthew 11:29)

I used to, but I self-evaluated and made changes accordingly.

No it's a rollercoaster, full of ups, downs, endless spirals, awesome highs, the deepest blackest lows and dull boring bits but ultimatly ending in the splendor of eternity with Jesus.

Hi, Sunny :) I think Jesus has said that we do not know what will come, at any time. And so, we need to simply trust the LORD. He knows, and He can have us ready for what He knows will really happen. And, of course, He can have us learning how to handle things, right while we are going through them . . . I mean, He might not have us perfectly ready before the thing, but right in it He will adjust us and fine-tune and correct us and mature us.

And if you have time enough to be quiet and think about the future . . . it is easier not to worry about it, but enjoy being able to do nothing :) It is good to be good at doing nothing, whenever we need to do this :) And be able to be quiet with God and enjoy Him and loving and caring in prayer.
