  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does justice matter at all?

The Bible is composed of 66 books and throughout the approximately 2000 years those books were written by about 40 different authors. Many of those autohers were Jewish.

In the book of Ecclesiates you can find that it is written," for man
lives once, then comes the judgement." When you are good and done with this life, as in death of the body, you wait for the Day of Judgement to either be sentenced for forever to Heaven or Hell. The book of Revelation has this as a prominent theme throughout itself. Read it and examine yourself.
Do you consider yourself to be a good person?
Well, have you ever told a lie? It only takes one lie for someone to become a
liar.
Have you ever stolen anything, irrespective of its value? It doesn't matter the
value of something, taking anything makes you a thief.

Jesus said," You know it has been said of old, 'you shall not commit adultery'.
But I say to you whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
Have you ever looked upon someone else in lust?

Have you ever used God's name in as a cuss word. Instead of using a four-letter filth word to express disgust, you have taken the holy name of the God of heaven and earth and dragged it through the mud, which would be called blasphemy.
By this examination of you under the light of God's Law, the Ten Commandments, you would be guilty of being a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart! Wow, that should really concern you.

Ask yourself:
If God were to judge you on Judgement Day by the Ten Commandments, do you think you would be innocent or guilty of breaking them?
Guilty, because no one can say that they have never broken one of those
Commandments.
So, do you think you would go to Heaven or Hell? If God is truly good, holy,
rightous, perfect, and just, then He must punish all liars, thieves, murderers (hatred is equal to murder as far as God is concerned), adulterers, fornicators, homosexuals, idolators, blasphemers, covetors, and all other transgressors of His perfect, holy Law. It is a reflection of His nature and holy character. You and I both fit into the category of transgressors of the Law and deserve Hell big time.

When you die you won't come back as a flower or something else, and you and I can't satisfy justice with good works because you and I both have broken the law. The law has been broken and the penalty must be paid. You will either be Heaven or Hell for eternity. Eternity is not one month, year, or even a century. It goes on for ever, and ever, and ever, and ever. That's a long time to spend in a place called Hell. As much as you could hate something or someone, you have no idea that is even barely close to knowing how much God hates sin, (sin = breaking God's law). He hates it a lot and He is angry when people sin, yet He is slow to anger. He doesn't want anyone perishing and going to Hell for eternity. God is called Father a lot in the Bible and like a earthly father He loves people more than you could ever know, but He will also discipline and
distribute justice. At the same time as Father He wants the every best for His children. Note: Someone becomes an adopted child into the family of God only
through the "firstborn", Jesus Christ the Son of God.

How many laws do you have to break for the police to rightfully come after you? One. How many laws do you need to break before there is a penalty from God's Law? Only one. Eternal justice demands eternal consequences.

Once you're body hits the ground, you will instantly standing before God and
having him either justify you by the blood of the Lamb, or you will stand guilty in your own sins and will suffer the consequences of breaking the Law for eternity. Someone has to pay the price, either yourself or someone else choosing to take your place. Jesus Christ did that on the cross for you. You broke God's Law and Jesus paid your fine. God does not want you to go to Hell. He wants you to live with him eternal, but if you reject His gift of eternal life, then you will have eternal death (a gift can not be earned, it can only be accepted from the giver; in this case, it is God). You are eternally pricless and are dearly loved and special to God.

"Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD . Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?" --Ezekiel 18:23 He does not want you to have eternal death; he would rather that you turned from false gods and wicked ways of living to Him.

Think of your eye. Would you sell your eye for 20 million dollars? Maybe you
would say yes. Would you sell both eyes for 50 million or even one billion dollars. I can tell you that no one in their right mind would sell both of their eyes. Why? Because their eyes are precious to them. So if our eyes are that valuable , yet being so insignificant, to us, then how much more so should be our souls? Jesus said,"What should it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul."

You either reject Jesus Christ totally, or you accept Him exclusively. He left
no middle ground. If you think He did, then you are only confusing yourself.

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Jesus said he is the only way and the only life. He isn't saying he has a little truth; He is saying HE IS THE TRUTH INCARNATE. No one else has ever said that.

"I and the Father are one." --John 10: 30

NASB Matthew 10: 37-39: "He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.He who as found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his
life for My sake will find it. "

WEB John 3:16-21 :" For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."

God wants to forgive you, but it is your choice if you want His forgiveness. Just aske Him for it, if you really mean to repent.
You come to Christ today in repentence. That means to turn from your wicked ways and whatever else is bad in your life according to God's standard, confess your sins to Him, and accept Jesus Christ as your only Lord and Savior. Do this today, because he is your only chance of escaping Hell.

You are lost and need to be rescued.
