For my sins?
Today is Divine Mercy Sunday. Get yourself to a Catholic Church and listen up. Your sins can be vaporized if you want to receive God's mercy. Don't let the sun set without acting.

1 John 5:3
For the love of God is this, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome,

John 14:15
If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

John 14:23
Jesus answered and said to him, "Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; yet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me.

John 15:22
"If I had not come to them and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; now, however, their sin cannot be excused. To hate me is to hate my Father. Had I not performed such works among them as no one has ever done before, they would not be guilty of sin; but as it is, they have seen, and they go on hating me and my Father."

Jesus loves you Melancholic! This is why Jesus came to die for your sins on the cross. The question you should be asking yourself is, do you love Jesus? To love Jesus is to obey Jesus, or repent to obey Jesus, with all your strength. To love Jesus with all your heart means to obey Jesus, or repent to obey Jesus with all your strength. Jesus and the Father give us Their Great
Commandment which is to Love God with all your mind, with all your heart, with all your strength and with all your soul. To Love God with all your heart means to Obey God, or repent to obey God, with all your strength. Jesus tells us that He will judge us into heaven or hell based on how well we Love Him through obedience to God's Commandments.

Matthew 19:16
The dangers of riches. Another time a man came up to him and said, "Teacher, what good must I do to possess everlasting life?" He answered, "Why do you question me about what is good? There is One who is good. If you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments." "Which ones?" he asked. Jesus replied "You shall not kill"; 'You shall not commit adultery'; 'You shall not steal'; 'You shall not bear false witness'; 'Honor your father and mother'; and 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Luke 10:25
On one occasion a lawyer stood up to pose him this problem: "Teacher, what must I do to inherit everlasting life?" Jesus answered him: "What is written in the law? How do you read it?" He replied:
"You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart,
with all your soul,
with all your strength,
and with all your mind;
and your neighbor as yourself."
Jesus said, "You have answered correctly. Do this and you shall live."

Luke 18:18
One of the ruling class asked him then, "Good teacher, what must I do to share in everlasting life? "Jesus said to him, "Why call me 'good'? None is good but God alone. You know the commandments:
'You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not kill.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear dishonest witness.
Honor your father and your mother.'"

Mark 10:17
As he was setting out on a journey a man came running up, knelt down before him and asked, "Good Teacher, what must I do to share in everlasting life?" Jesus answered, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone. You know the commandments:
'You shall not kill;
You shall not commit adultery;
You shall not steal;
You shall not bear false witness;
You shall not defraud;
Honor your father and your mother.'"

John 5:27
"The Father has given over to him power to pass judgment because he is Son of Man; no need for you to be surprised at this, for an hour is coming in which all those in their tombs shall hear his voice and come forth. Those who have done right shall rise to live; the evildoers shall rise to be damned."

For my sins?

No... why would you think that?

Such notions are satan trying to make you dispare and think your beyond having a realtoinship with christ as thats the last thing he wants... he wants you to feel dispare and then into anger and finally a total rejection of God.

I tell you that God loves you.. not only that because you recognise your sins god loves that too he loves that because in recognising our sins we become humble and God loves humility because he can work with that

he can pour out his graces upon us and help us over come our sin because in our humility we have reconised our sin and in recognising our sin we have opened ourself upto God

even if its but a mere jar to allow God change us there is within us a will to allow god to change us because we recognise our sin... what God can not do is over rule our free will so God hates the pride in those who refuse to recognise their own sin.

Thanks be to God, that you recognise your sins you should rejoice because now God can begin to heal you as he does with us everytime we sin and recognise it and reject it and feel sorry for it

So not only does God love you, he also finds much delight in your humility

For my sins?
Romans 5:6-8
6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

No, sweetie pie, God doesn't hate you. Repentance, contrition, mercy, and forgiveness are divine graces given by God because He loves us, and wants us to be with Him in Heaven.

What about the deadly sins for example? Is there absolutely no way to make your god turn away or at least something that would make him angry?

That's a good question.

If you have a grown, adult child who abuses drugs, refuses to get treatment, refuses to return your phone calls, and rejects every attempt / offer of yours for help, you will still love them, even though their behaviour leaves you sad, angry, hurt, and grieved.

You will still love them, and give them every opportunity to be saved, waiting for them to turn you and accept the help you lovingly offer.

For my sins?
God hates your sins, not you.

It's like me and my son. Once he stole $600 out of my purse. It was our rent money. He went and spent it on a stupid X-box. I could only get $300 selling the same X-box back to the store he bought it from. I was so angry I was seeing red. But I never for a moment stopped loving him. I yelled at him and chewed his little butt out.

Then when I calmed down, I thought to myself, "this is really, really serious. How can I teach him the gravity of it, so that he never EVER does this again? It's got to be something that really hurts him, or it will have no impact. But I have to do it, or he'll end up being a thief like so many of the other kids in the neighborhood."

So I told him I was going to have him arrested, and dragged him down to the police station. I worked it out with a police officer to give my kid "the treatment." He was never actually arrested, but we pretended like he was. The officer showed him the cells. We let him sit a long time in the interrogation room after that. Then the officer said there was a special program you could do instead of going to juvenile hall. And we enrolled my son in the police "boot camp." LOL

And I forgave my son, because he turned around and didn't steal from me anymore. Today my son and I are incredibly close.

That's the way our heavenly Father is. He does not want us to sin. He HATES the sin. It will bring on his wrath. And "those whom God loves he will discipline." Oh you can depend upon that. In fact, when you get disciplined, smile, because now you know for sure that God loves you! But when you repent, and return to His ways, he will always forgive you and welcome you home, even bring out the fatted calf to throw a party for you.

For my sins?

Melancholic, the Catholic Church is a Hospital of sinners and some are in the intensive care unit and I'm one of the many of the billion or more. Jesus Loves us more than we can ever know in this life, but he hates the sin that we do, not us the sinner, thus why he left the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
