Does God hate Himself or His character?

Hear me out. I'm confused a bit on this.

1 Peter 5:5 And in the same way, let the younger men be ruled by the older ones. Let all of you put away pride and make yourselves ready to be servants: for God is a hater of pride, but he gives grace to those who make themselves low.

Deu 5:9 .....for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God....

Any opinions on this?

Uh...God...it seems impossible for Him to hate Himself. I don't have any degrees to speak from...but I'm going to say that it is impossible for God to hate Himself.

There are seven things that the LORD hates...oh wait...six...

Proverbs 6:16-19...

There should be more, though...I can't think of any at the moment. God having pride...hm.....righteousness...

These are just expressive ways God conveys to us who is limited in our understanding his will.

I hate too, I hate evil doers and those who blaspheme God but do I really hate them? No. I pray for them.

colossi3: No. Jesus Christ was/is 'the express image of God, and he said, "Learn of me for I am meek and lowly in herat."

God is jealous for our souls: he is not willing that any should fall prey to false gods and perish.
