ISAIAH 45:7 "I FORM THE LIGHT ,AND CREATE DARKNESS,I MAKE PEACE, AND CREATE EVIL, I THE LORD THAT DO ALL THESE THINGS"

So? Can someone more profound explain this to me? How can God of love, create evil?-I'm having trouble explaining this to non-Christians.

How do you respond to someone who asks you: If God knows everything & he knew Satan was going to betray him, why did he allow it to happen?

Free will: the same person also asked me, if it's true that we have FREE will? And how come; if God had control over EVERYTHING that happen in our lifes?

I told him, you can't find an explanation for everything & through FAITH we're saved! Because our human minds can't comprehend beyond what our eyes can see.But how should I answer back to these questions? I wanna be ready next time I'm confronted with these questions!

HELP!

Problem: Since God is omniscient (all knowing), He must have known in advance that people would disobey Him, yet He made them anyway. Therefore, God is responsible for sin.

Answer: While God is all knowing, we are not. Cursory logic might seem to place blame for evil squarely on God's shoulders, but we can draw no such conclusion from the limited information at our disposal. Given that we ourselves are not omniscient, we must make our determination based on the data at hand.

The Bible repeatedly insists that God is holy, and thus incapable of sin [Leviticus 10:3, 11:44-45, 19:2; Numbers 20:13; Joshua 24:19; 1 Samuel 2:2; Isaiah 12:6; Matthew 5:48 --- and many other examples].

In fact, accusing God of wrongdoing is a sin [Job 1:22]. If God were capable of sin, then it would hardly be transgressive to point this out. Some critics will argue that the Bible says nothing is impossible for God [Luke 1:37], therefore He must be capable of sin. But this argument is an abuse of both Scripture and logic. “Sin” is by definition the stuff that God will not do, just as “righteousness” is by definition the stuff that God always does. Applying a finite human paradigm to an infinite God is purely ridiculous. After all, Yahweh is the very definition of holiness. His character is the standard against which all else is measured. The Bible says: “But you are to be perfect, even as your heavenly Father is perfect.” [Matthew 5:48/NLT]

And finally, God blames His creatures for the initiation of sin. On one occasion, Jesus spoke the following words to a group of religious leaders:

“If God were your Father, you would love me, because I have come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but He sent me. Why can't you understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to do so! For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning and has always hated the truth. There is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.” [John 8:42-44/NLT]

Did you catch it? God blames Satan for inventing lies, and it was Satan's lies to Eve that got the sin-ball rolling in the first place [1 Timothy 2:14]. Satan authored sin. Adam passed sin on to the rest of us [1 Corinthians 15:22].

But why did God let it happen? Scholars have debated this issue for a very long time. If you're an Arminian, you might argue that God cannot interfere with human will once it is initiated. If you're an Open Theist, you might argue that God doesn't actually know the future. If you're a Calvinist, you might argue that redeeming a sinful world brings God greater glory than ruling over a perfect world; so for the sake of His glory, God permits sin. The truth is, scholars will continue to debate this issue until Jesus comes. All we can do is take God at His word that He isn't to blame.
