How will you be handling the copyright issues ?

I've been considering this. Is it difficult to get permission from song writers to publish their lyrics? Perhaps it would be for those Christian artists who couldn't publish their songs and this would be a way for them to get some attention.

If more people join in this work, we can get together and contact the actual music writers or artists for their permission to display the lyrics. We won't be able to own them, but with their permission, we will be able to display them.

From what I've seen yes.
We can't even record our worship services music when we use anything but songs written inhouse due to copyright issues.
