  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If so I'd love to hear about them and maybe see a pic or two!!

I can't post pics yet because I haven't made enough posts but I can give you a description of my boy!

His name is Toby and he's a qh x arab and a palomino. He's about 18y/o now and more like a big dog these days. I love him to bits! :)

I have a 13-year-old dark bay Thoroughbred mare called Kizzy. I got her last January. I don't compete, just ride for relaxation. We just mooch around the countryside enjoying each other's company! You can see some pictures here:

Hey! I have hmm 3 horses and a pony! I have a Paint filly, Jubilee, who will be 3(YAY) in April, a 14 year old BLIND Appy mare, Pet, who's the GREATEST riding horse for beginners, a 14 year old Arabian mare, Confetti, who's a good all around horse, but hmm...the kids love her the most because she's a lot of fun, and Abby, an 18 year old GELDING, yes I know Abby is a weird name, NOT our doing, and he is a Shetland/Hackney cross. We just got him given to us, and he supposedly doesn't have any training but I just started him under saddle and he has even given the kids rides so I think he knows something :) I hope to sell the Arab and get a Standardbred! I will get pics if I think of it!

I do not have a horse of my own. I have been around them lots when I was younger I have worked for different equestrian centers. I used to ride all the time. I have ridden many breeds ie . Morgans, Appys, Arabs,Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses,American Saddlebreds. I also have ridden several ponies. My Favorite horse to ride was the Arab She was so smooth and gentle. I would love to go riding again. There are no stables that are close to where I live.

i have a 7 year old unreg. palomino QH mare. She's been a blast to have. I bought her in the fall of 02 and a very green 3.5 year old. she's bucked me off more times then i can count, she's reared and come over backwards on me, she's tripped and fallen on me, she slid on the road once and went down while i was riding her, but she's been getting smarter. Most of this all happened the first year i had her and since then we've been getting much better. Now, i can take that crazy little of mare of mine to a show and show in everything from showmanship (in hand) classes to Western Pleasure classes to english classes (but we don't jump) to speed/timed even classes and none of it phases her. I can walk her into an arena, run a barrel pattern, and then jog her around the arena like she was a WP horse. I love my horse! I had her at a show for my schools IHSA (intercollegiate Horse show association) and she went into 14 classes with 14 different people on her and was an angel.

Well if I had a horse right now I would boast that he was a QH, most likely a paint. I would also be tempted to thank God he had no Arab in him....but you would know I'm only teasing!!!! ;) well sort of....where Im from arab, appys and morgans are all cuss words.....but I must admit the first horse I actually owned was an arab morgan cross and she was sweet  well accept on days whe didnt want to be

right now my family has 14 horses, most of them QH or QH crosses....but unfortunatly I must admit none of them are officially mine.

When I do buy another horse though, I want to get a Paint QH out of one of the studs my grandad sold some years back....I better hurry up before they retire him though
