Can anyone interpret this dream for me? I had a dream on the night of September 5, 2016. In my dream I woke up that same night and looked down to my left side and saw that Aiden (my 4 year old) was still asleep. I decided to get out of bed and kneel down beside my bed facing my mirror. I started praying in tongues and I could feel the Holy Spirit's presence and I had my arms raised up. I opened my eyes and I saw my arms they were glowing like hot molten metal. They were that yellow orange glow and it looked like there was little flecs moving in my arms much like when a spark happens in a campfire. I closed my eyes and prayed that the Holy Spirit wouldn't leave and continued to pray in the spirit and while I was praying I saw a vision. In the vision I could no longer hear myself praying in the spirit but I could see this house and as far as I know it was in my town, but there were a lot of trees and it was fall. There was an outdoor seating area almost like a gazebo, but it was square shaped and had no roof. There was twinkle lights wrapped around the poles. And when I looked into the house, which had hardwood floors and sheer white curtains, the house was very open and didn't have any furniture, I saw a man in there. He was standing there wearing a flannel shirt he had a scruffy face and I believe he had brown hair. However looking at him was almost like looking at somebody who is standing in front of a sunset, I could not see his features very well. He was smiling and he seems like a very gentle man. And I remember him coming to me and hugging me. That is all that I remember of the dream.

To understand your dream, it's important to consider your own feelings/longings/anxiety (if any) at the time of the dream. Ask yourself some questions: What was the desire of your prayer? Were you aware this was a dream at the time?

In my dream I was just seeking God....I wasn't praying for anything in specific. Often times when I feel the Holy Spirit's presence for a short moment while inam praying...so when I asked the Holy Spirit not to leave, it was in reference to that...I wanted to spend extended time in His presence. I did not know that it was a dream until I woke up from it.

Sometimes I can offer something in relationship to a dream - perhaps later on.

I appears that the man who hugged you was representative of the the spirit you "wanted to spend extended time" with. When trying to figure out your dreams, it is most important to understand your personal frame of mind at the time of the dream. I suggest that you keep a pad of paper and pen next to your bed. When you have vivid dreams such as this, write them down right away. Pay special attention to your feelings/longings. "Symbolism" in dreams can be greatly misleading without proper context.

No, I do not know who the man is or where he lives. I seemed to know him in the dream though.
I am not quite sure I understand what you mean by one of the manifest sons and daughters? Could you explain that?

God is working with the church to draw peoples into the area of being manifest sons and daughters.
These people will die to themselves, becoming a church, which before was not a church.
He draws them to the realm of doing great works for god.

Clearly, one's frame of mind can influence one's dreams. A child watches a scary movie (he or she probably shouldn't have) and has a nightmare. A powerful influence over dreams are the anxieties, longings and strong emotional stresses of our daily lives. In Goddreamers (above) case, however, the dream appears to have been devoid of such influences. Her prayer in the dream was for nothing specific--only the longing to spend extended time with the spirit. This is an ideal condition for spiritual contact and from her account, it seems this desire was granted.

Of course, dreams are effected by our situations. But we're referring to dreams given by Yahweh. There's several places that states some dreams are from Yahweh such as Job 33. "For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; 16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, 17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man."
Don't see anything in the Gen 20, 31, 37, 40, 41, Judges 7, I Kings 3, Daniel 2-4, Matt 1, 2, dream accounts to indicate that the dreamer's state of mind before the dream played a role. When they're from Yahweh, we also need His interpretation per "Do not interpretations belong to God?" Gen 40:8

Actual spirit contact through dreams is very rare. The vast majority of spiritual dream accounts are creations in our own minds. They are heavily influenced by the strong convictions and tenants that we cling to. Spirits are bound by God's universal law forbidding interference in the will of spiritual candidates. This is a major reason that spirit contact is so difficult to achieve. When your mind is truly "open" you become receptive to genuine contact.

The vision of the man in an empty house shows that you have kept your house clean, you have not let any evil spirits or habits inhabit you, and that you have the spirit of God in you. I do not have anything about the other details.
