Does anyone else feel this way on holidays?

Rather than feel joyful on Christian holidays, I find myself just wanting them to be over with. I'm saddened by this, and wish I would look forward to them in joyous anticipation. Can anyone else relate to this?
I can relate. I think much of it has to do with the
pressures that seem to come with them, which really don't
have to be there, such as (with Christmas) gift-giving and
the preparation that goes into grand holiday dinners and
get-togethers.

My own circumstances are such that these things are
quieting down tremendously, and I'm determined to keep
them that way.

Christmas has been hijacked by Santa (Satan) and the worship of an adorned tree with presents. This is not how God would want you to spend his son's birthday. I have also heard that the date itself is incorrect as well. Freemason's have rearranged the Lord's birthday, and maybe even the weekly sabbath day to suite there own ends, that would be worshipping satan. Would God approve of people acting like idiots on black friday in order to secure presents? I think not.

Hi imstillstanding. Yes, I feel the same way. Tbh, the holidays lack the significance they did in earlier years. I'm just allowong myself time for life to regain the joyous anticipation I long for as well. My best wishes to you. :)

When growing up I would enjoy some aspects of "Christian holidays," but I always felt something missing or was never quite satisfied spiritually. I was always taught that these "holidays" were pagan in nature and origin, but I ignored it and still celebrated them with my family until a few years back, when I stopped celebrating them all together, because of my choice. Now I don't celebrate these "holidays" but I find joy and fulfillment in celebrating Yahweh's (God's) Holy Days that are listed in the Bible and they all point to His beautiful plan, that is outlined in the scriptures. It gives my heart joy in taking part in them because it gives me a glimpse of what His New Kingdom will be like, we will celebrate them in His New Kingdom, at least some of them if not all. The list of the Holy Day's are found in Leviticus 23, and can be found in other places in the Bible as well. :)

Yes, the date of His birth is wrong, He was actually born in the Fall, during The Feast of Tabernacles, which is one of God's Holy Days. :)

So why are we all pretending it's December 25th?

Sadly, a lot have been blinded to believe that is when it was because that is what we have been taught for the majority (I was blinded as well at one time), it is actually a day that was celebrated already, called Saturnalia, but was "Christianized" later, I don't know exact dates about the changes and such, but researching this topic is very eye opening, I have watched videos on it before.

It has occult significance with the controllers. I wonder ,do you think God is happy about that?

Yes it does. And no I don't think He is happy with it, I think it breaks His heart to be honest, and also angers Him because their focus is not completely on Him, they are putting other "gods" and "goddesses" into the mix and yet still saying it is for Him. That is why I stopped celebrating them, I don't want any part in them if that is how God feels about it.
