Does anyone else feel it??

Ever since the opening of The Passion I have felt something really weird. I can't really place it but it's like I feel something evil in the air. It just feels like there must be some serious spiritual warfare going on right now. It's almost like that feeling you sometimes get when you feel like something bad is gonna happen. Has anyone else ever felt that? I'm getting a little frightened about it. It seems like this thing with Howard Stern for example is getting an awful lot of news coverage, what is that about? I know it sounds like I am rambling but thats because I can't really describe what I am feeling. I am sort of hoping someone will just understand. LOL You are probably like "what does Howard Stern have to fo with this?" I just can't help but think that two weeks ago it wouldn't have been so widely covered. And now this Rosie O'Donell thing. I feel like we are in for something, I just don't know what.
I know you all think I am nuts now!

I feel like we need to pray, I mean seriously pray. I feel like that is the message I am getting, crazy or not.

I think your right. There is probably some major spiritual warfare happening. I haven't really "felt" it. It is a bit scary though thinking we may be close to Christ's return. Not so much so for those of us in faith, but for the world itself. We just need to keep faith and keep following.

I think it's all been going down the drain fast these past couple of years. I think The Passion is probably the only bright patch in this whole mess of pop culture. I can barely get myself to keep up with the news anymore, it's just all too depressing. We're getting as bad as Rome ever was.

I have been feeling EXACTLY THAT!!

It almost makes my skin crawl . . it is an awful feeling at times . . Is this what it is about? I was thinking it might have to do with something else that we are involved with personally, about a decision we are making, but it started yesterday!!! And it has hardly let up!!!!

When I pray, the feeling goes away and peace comes . . but I had not made the connection . . I feel it even now! It is oppresive, evil . . .yuck . .

Hey guys, I know I am not catholic, but I find you guys are sometimes more interresting to post with (If you dont mind me posting here....)

I know exactly what you mean. I cant get it outta my head. I cant sleep. Its been 2 days since I have seen it and I cant stop thining about it. I had horrible nightmares about it. Everytime I close my eyes I see him there on the cross... his bloody face. I cant make it stop.
I feel an eery presence in the air. I am constantly checking over my shoulders. And (I know it sounds stupid) I suddenly dont want to go anywhneres where its dark.
I walked into my computer room last night, and just before I flicked on the light switch, all I could think about was evil lurking in my room. And it happened last night before I feel asleep too.

Oh and by the way, whats up with the Howard Stern thing? I didnt hear about it.

Sign, I think its normal because after viewing our Saviour in such a difficult light, we start to examine ourselves and our actions. Perhaps some of it is guilt, but we are all feeling it. Pray and thank Jesus for his sacrifice. Recommit to him your soul and your life.

I feel like this was a reConfirmation of sorts. It has brought me closer to God and will continue to do so.

Isn't it interesting how the posts to Christy's question have diverged. We have the Howard Stern strand and the Prayer strand. I cannot remember the last time I was moved to make a Holy Hour five days a week. I think Christy is right, there is a widespread impulse to prayer. Something's up.

Aaron I see that too, I thought maybe it was all my fault! Everyone seemed a little different when I first got here. Now I am seeing that it is not just on OBOB or even this entire message board, it is all over the place. There just seems to be a lot of tension in the air.
