  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I can't seem to get God out of my mind (not that I want to). I think about Him literally every waking moment. If I see something happen whether it be good or bad, I immediately trace it back to God and try to find the reason He made that happen. He's always the first thing that comes to mind. I love that about Him and I.

Anyone else experience this? I do hope so.

Hey, it does happen, but it's virtually impossible to find the multiple levels of involvement of God in every event in creation.

The moral examination is really important; comparing it with the Law is also a significant thing to help inform your spirit, which it seems is hungering to know the way God works.

Yes.
I find this one of the greatest reasons to live holy, blameless lives: you do not grieve away the blessed Holy Spirit.
I am reminded of the fear of some immature believers:that they would be BORED in Heaven, with nothing to do. This step of greater maturity and sanctification ,where our Lord is King of your mind, is but a foretaste of Heaven. Oh the bliss that awaits the child of God!

Are you saved, Shadow? Knowing about God and being occupied with His presence is good, but salvation of the soul is in Christ. What this may be is what the Bible calls: "quickening" --awakening to God. God may occupy one with Himself and speak to Him in many ways, but if one does not then receive His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, that one will likely fall away and give up any religious effort. I have seen this happen in a number of lives. We must be "born again".
