[QUOTE="Neostarwcc, post: 75688293, member: 383061"] Oh so the 9900x? Yup I was right 9th gen. But yeah, that's a super popular processor that people love to overclock to unbelievable limits. Just people with lots of money to blow and who like to spend $500+ a month sticking their computers on liquid nitrogen. Just... such a waste. There's a world record out now though where somebody overclocked a 10900k to almost 8 GHZ. Which is an almost 110% overclock lol. I spend a lot of money on computers but I also give a lot to charity like every other Christian. That way my life isn't just "Hey this new worldly thing came out! Let's sink all of our money into it and not care about others! :P" I was going to buy a 9900x but by the time I had the funds to upgrade my wife's system the 10th generation processors were out and were cheaper. I haven't upgraded to 4k yet. I'm used to gaming at a 1440P 165 hz refresh rate and a 144 hz 4k monitor is like a grand. Just, no ty. I'm glad that 4k monitors can do that but I will never pay more than $500 for a monitor, ever. Not to mention I get 165 FPS on most games in most areas so I like that, if I upgraded to 4k I wouldn't have that. Assuming Jesus doesn't come back by then when a good 4k monitor is affordable I'll pick one up. Yes Nvidia released the 3000 series at such competitive prices they were amazing.
