Doctrine of devils

Is evolution a doctrine of devils? Evolution: That life could exist without a God and the genesis account is a lie, thus making God a liar. Calling God a liar in genesis, means you are calling Jesus a liar(john 5:47). Once you call Jesus a liar, there is no need to repent(mark 16:16) since you state that Jesus is not God.


1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

I think it would be correct to say that any theology taught that is not from God is a doctrine of devils (taught by demons).

Speciation in evolution and science's ideas regarding the beginning of the world would just be two of these. (I do not believe all of evolution is wrong. We have seen microevolution occur (small changes through natural selection and mutation), and I believe it is in line with what God allows in Creation. Perversion of this idea through a non-Christian belief system is what led to speciation (one species turning into another species), which is completely wrong and the part of evolution that we Christians abhor.)

if daveleau is right, then what are "mere teachings of men" ? jesus accuse the pharisees to teach such. interesting question, because around me there are many many false teachings, but i cant get behind how evil they actually are. often they crepp in very subtly. people use a lot of secondary literature and end up with something different than sound exegesis. for example. it starts that subtly. IMHO.

i think it all starts and ends with "what do i want to hear" ??
am i willing to deny my own needs and expectations and am i willing uncompromisingly to ask god what is his opinion, though it may hurt. this ist the crucial point.

Well, the Bible often uses synonymns for similar topics to affect different audiences. That's the whole reason that we have 4 Gospels...4 different points of view written to different audiences to affect the same response in different people. I think the doctrine of devils could very well be the same thing as the teachings of men. They do not originate from God, so...
