We all have to consider what scriptures are applicable to our own selves, after all it is each of us that is judged and we answer for our own faith and works, or lack thereof. Thus accusing someone of mockery may be from a position of havng a plank in ones own eye and then tying to remove a splinter from another's eye. No on can use the excuse, well others took it all the wrong way as well. ;) I see what that passage says is that deeds are a neccessary part of acceptance of Christ and that it is a gift from Christ that we consider and undertake good works. It does not say we do not need them, far from it in fact. It is saying that the good works do not come from ones own self, they are motivated by our Love of God and Christ. It does not mean one can say I beleive and get an out of goal free card, without the God given gift of the required deeds. Would you like those passages quoted? You made me laugh.....how many monitors do you think were in rural Australian hospitals in late 1980? :D:p actually in any hospital. We blind ourselves with our prejudices. They are the clouds Christ returns upon. Regards Tony
