You may be right, but I think these internet religious discussion fora are not good for my soul.

I've been thinking about leaving this one for a long time.

The nasty sort of politically correct, liberal ecumenist remarks that have popped up here lately have made me wonder about a lot of things.

If the marks of the true Church are that she is One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic, where does that leave the present state of Orthodoxy?

Since you made that comment beneath a quote from me, I must assume that I am the legalist pharisee practicing false piety.

The only thing of his I've read is his exposition of the Apocalypse based on the writings of St. Andrew of Caesarea. An excellent book.

God has not ordained you to decide who is in communion with the canonical Orthodox Church, and who is not.

Why do you assume you're the one upholding the faith of the Apostolic Fathers?
