We don't reach the unchurched lost by singing in the choir.
Maybe. Never saw it though, in any church, anyplace, nor heard of anyone thus.Yes, yes you can.

No myth to start with. Evidence/ testing remains to be verified.I know friends in the church who got saved that way. But its because they actually got invited to listen. Now they are either part of the choir or conducting it and on fire for God. Look at God! Praise Him!
So myth debunked lol

https://www.newreleasetoday.com/article.php?article_id=939 ?As far as possible to know, it looks like no, they don't have any Christian songs.
alright huhSorry. Doesn't help.
The whole world might do something like that -alright huh
"I needed to get my head out of "what makes a great song," and just write from the heart. I shared this with my wife, and she said, "Why don't you write about this? About how the Holy Spirit speaks to you and how you feel right now." It hit me like a brick. So I went upstairs and sat down with an acoustic for the rest of the night and wrote this song. This song is as honest as it gets."
Ok. God bless you.The whole world might do something like that -
neither feelings nor honesty makes a song "Christian" or from God.
Realize that much music stirs up activity that is not of nor from God.As far as I am concerned a big "NO" but, I'm not the one listening, if it came on the radio, I would turn it off, but, there are some who the beat would catch, and some the lyrics would reach, even if the didn't fully understand them or the thrust of the song.
This is what Paul had to say on this very subject, LISTEN!
The Advance of the Gospel
Php 1:12-17
12) But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
13) So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;
14) And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
15) Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16) The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17) But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
So then even if we do not like it, God can and does use what He has to work with, if these guys are not serious about what it is they are doing, let God deal with them, remember if you pull up the Tares, you also pull up the Wheat with it, so let it be.

The leaders of the churches in Russia a few decades ago wrote an open letter that was on the internet until about 10 years ago (can't find it now)
requesting that the churches in the usa that had gone to
the churches in Russia NOT return and said why: the music was demonic and ruined many of the young lives and the families , even of those who were and had been regular church members for their lives.
The believers in Africa in other testimonies available decades ago
also said they were praying for the united states because of how poor it was in faith and asked why the missionaries used music that stirred up demons.
i.e. believers around the world recognized the spiritual source
and saw the devastating effects.
David Wilkerson had some sermons about this also, that might be still available.
---------
p.s. Paul and all the other leaders in the first century would never have allowed it for any reason in their meetings nor in their homes, according to all Scripture and the warnings there-in.
well yeah, you know it says it's Christian rock band. Do u think it's ok/not ok to listen to songs like that one, eh?As far as I am concerned a big "NO" but, I'm not the one listening, if it came on the radio, I would turn it off, but, there are some who the beat would catch, and some the lyrics would reach, even if the didn't fully understand them or the thrust of the song.

Hey-o, here comes the danger up in this club
When we get started man, we ain't gonna stop
We gonna turn it out, 'till it gets too hot
Everybody sing, hey-o
Tell 'em turn it up 'till they can't no more
Let's get this thing shakin' like a disco ball
This is your last warning, a courtesy call"
Interpretation please for that part.
Best words in the song:
- "Hey-o, here comes the danger up in this club" = Enemies of Christianity just walked in, as probably evidenced by yelling out insults, against the band and/or against Christians in general.
- "When we get started man, we ain't gonna stop" = They didn't go there to set up all the equipment, get heavily into the sets, and then just quit because suddenly somebody doesn't like it.
- "We gonna turn it out, 'till it gets too hot" = They're gonna keep playing until there may be a riot about to take place.
- "Everybody sing, hey-o. Tell 'em turn it up 'till they can't no more" = Best line in the song. It's a directive to every Christian in the place to close ranks. It means, "Sing everybody, and tell the sound guys back there to crank it to the hilt because we're now gonna try drowning them out with volume."
- "Let's get this thing shakin' like a disco ball" = Means rock this one out with us. It's sort of the imagery of a bee hive sensing danger and getting ready in case a fight starts.
- "This is your last warning, a courtesy call" = The concert may be ending soon, cuz trouble just walked in and all hell may break lose in a second. This is obviously a "go to" song whenever people show up at their shows who hate Christians and are looking to start trouble. They probably switch out from the normal set order to it whenever the situation calls for it. It's called "Courtesy Call" to set everyone on alert that things may be about to get ugly.
It's brilliant, if you ask me. Means they are very experienced at what they're doing, and they're not gonna just go away easily. Thank God we still have some men in the body of Christ.
Not sure if this is the right section to ask, but anyway...
Do you guys think this song is christian?Just a quick response, thanks.
There are different opinions personally about this song. But the band have songs that sound Christian, huh?You can ask this question about anything .
Does this glorify God ?
Personally I think most gospel songs are too soft . Some Hard-rock Christian bands don't even use the word Jesus in thier whole albums once they just call themself Christian before of marketing purposes .
