What we know ... We won't know what He looks like until we are with Him. So, presupposing what He looks like is futile.

Revelation 1:7 "Behold he comes with clouds, and every eye shall see him."

I think it is him because he is conforming to Gods image. His hair is not long. His beard is not to long. And it looks like he is wearing plain clothing and it is white.

I think a fake picture would have him with long hair and a long beard.

I don't think that Jesus was Caucasian, much darker and a bigger nose. I don't know really but an interesting portrait, unless Jesus sat for it I doubt seriously it's identical.

Isaiah 53, though I've heard that this description is talking about what he looked during the crucifixion, which I think might be right:
1 Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
2 For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him.
3He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

I do not see that pic as exceptionally handsome. It could be or maybe not. His skin should be darker.

But we are told to make no image of God. So I am leery of anyone making a drawing of our Lord.

Jesus is not a white European. He was a Jew.

I suspect he would have had black curly hair, brown eyes and an olive complexion, perhaps even a somewhat hooked nose.

At the crucifixion, his appearance was so marred he was not recognizable as a man, or barely so.

He was "ugly" by today's standards.

"Beauty" ? Is vain. Empty. 'void'? .

Charm is deceitful. (worldwide, everywhere)
