I am a YEC(Young Earth Creationst) and always will be.

As far as I'm concerned the world is only about 6000 yrs old and radiometric dating,half life,decay rows and such are all just theories.
Nothing ever lived/lasted more than that amount of time in this universe.

I could go into it but I'll just leave it at that

Proven history only goes back to about 4000 B.C. with the hebrew records being the oldest.

What do you mean 'proven'. All the early hebrew records would have been the result of oral-tradition, only been written down when writing was invented.

Genesis was written around 1500 BC. There were other written languages and records before that. They were written on clay tablets though. Moses was the first to write on paper.

I am a YEC also, but I think more like 10-12 thousand years. I think this is the estimate from AIG also, (haven't checked in a long time).

actually, if you take a look for a man by the name "ron wyatt", he and his exploration team found the ark on the Aruatu (i think that's how it's spelled) mountain ranges by one of the borders of turkey, if i'm not mistaken

I think I know what you are talking about. But what he thinks is the ark is probably an old ship.

A thorough excavation may be made another year to solve the mystery."

We are not sure if what Ron Wyatt found is actually Noah's Ark. AIG has distanced itself from Ron. If you check out his website: anchorstone international and read about his visitation from an angel, you may see why.
