It will get smaller, I think, since some/several Christian bands want to shed their Christian title and be thought of as more of a secular band (mxpx and pod, to name two).

I also think that there shouldn't be such a strong line between Christian and secular music. All of the music with a Christian message is being listened to by the Christians, when other folks need the message it carries more. More people would hear the message Christian music brings if it was more available, but, instead, we're boxing it in so only we can hear it.

It is too, from what i hear. The truth is that it is the fastest growing genre in music right now.

Just because some bands are going secular doesn not mean that Christian music will grow smaller. I think that the bands who switch over, just give Christian music a good name. I also see a better quality of christian music coming out, i feel the music is now relevant to culture. Bands like switchfoot, kutless and other are really raising the bar on the quality...so more people will tune in. I know of non- christian friends who are biggining toi listen to switchfoot, relient k and others. it's really exciting! i see it christian music expanding it's horizons and gaining a wider audience.
